Anybody order the UD Amsterdams and have not received them yet? It has been >6 weeks now since my order and I still haven't gotten any type of notification. I'm wondering if my order got lost in the mix somehow...

I still have not received my Gramercys either (ordered them the first day they went on sale)... I called AE last week and they said that they should be out of production this week and delivered late this week or early next week. May be worth calling thought to see if your Amsterdams are the same case.
You might shoot AE an email. I received mine last week and the bourbon color is fantastic, but unfortunately I had to send them back to AE to due some QC issues. Customer service has been fantastic, but still a bit disappointing.
In any event, it sounds like a fair number of people here have received them. I think it would be worth sending an email with your order information.

I am just hoping they fit. On AE website it said 7-97 last is flat around the toe area. Meaning this last is quite roomy ? Anyone here own this pair or pairs on the same last could you please comment on fit.
My correct sizing for AE strands is 7.5 EEE and on Fifth ST boots 8 D. How far am I from 8 B ?
I have AE strands in 8EEE - which fits really loose(a little bit too long on the toe box and a bit way too much space around the toe). I wear 2 insoles and fits perfect . So I am about 7.5 EEE in AE strands.
I have AE Fifth ST boots. I have them in size 8.5D. They are a bit too long a a bit too loose. MY perfect size on them would've been 8D
I am a bit between an 8E and 8EEE on the 5 last (Strand, etc.)... I have shell MacNeils in 8E (on the 7-97 last) and they fit almost perfect because they feel wider around the ball of the foot and probably because they are flatter across the toes. I also just got the shell 5th Streets in 8E and they are a good fit too.
I would not personally down-width to a B because I think to get the width I would need, I would have to up-size to a length that would be too long.
Going from an E to a B is a pretty dramatic decrease in width, even if you up-size a half or full size.

Gents ,
Just bought the below pairs. I am a US 8E/EE will this fit ? It's US 8.5B. I read on AE website this model is on 7-97 last. Any comments about fit will be greatly appreciated.

They will not fit.

I haven't, but that makes sense to me as the derbys are probably going to be looser than the oxfords. They should really take that into account when manufacturing though.
