You can at least try on some AEs at Nordstrom to get a feel for your size. Another option is getting factory seconds from AE during a sale time (like now). I'm a college student, too, so I will often go via this route to save some money. Flaws are usually negligible and you can return them if it is too noticeable.

are their factory seconds on this A.E. site?

I absolutely love the shoes and don't want to return it. Amazon is offering me a 20% discount. Should I take it and send the shoes to AE for repair? :(

Here's the pics of the damage :((

So what is the total price that you have paid (including the new 20% discount)? Is that worth the shoes?

About 170 after the discount so it's a pretty good deal. The shoes look great otherwise. Is this kind of thing even fixable?

I'm not at expert on that. It looks covered up, though.

thanks. How come most or all of the shoes this guy is selling are supposedly worn 2-3 times.. lol. Have you bought any items from this seller before?

Any tips on lacing the Strands? A link to the technique would be helpful as well.

Thanks for the reply. I've actually seen and really love KW'a black wholecuts. I've been searching for something that might be a bit more affordable for me.

Being covered up means good or bad? :)

It looks like the flaw is on the tongue and is covered by the upper. I think that's good!

Wearing my new daltons around the house tonight. I can't believe how light these are compared to my north plattes. Great looking shoe.
