I had an issue with the finish on my McAllisters and customer service said to send them in to be looked at. They offered to refinish the uppers and they look great now. They also included a $35 discount card towards the purchase of a pair of new AEs. I´m not in the market at the moment and the card expires in 75 days.

I'll send it free of cost to whomever can PM me on the condition you use it yourself and will not sell it, as I really have no use for it. I'd feel guilty selling it since they went way above and beyond for my issue.

EDIT: Card is gone!

Hold on to it, you might change your mind within the 75 day period...

I would, but we're on a somewhat tight budget and have decided to cut out extra expenses (I really don't need another pair of shoes, or so says my wife...)

Thats very thoughtful of you... even though I will be getting the Neumora's in the next 75 days, i say keep it and if you still aren't in the market by day 60, then someone can snatch it up lol....

If we start to throw in logic and frugality, the fragile infrastructure of SF brakes down. Do we really need any of this stuff, no... Do we end up getting it anyway, yes...

They always say that. Don't believe her, she's just trying to preserve space for women's shoes. biggrin.gif

I have more shoes than she does, she works in a hospital so it's almost always white tennis shoes.

Just do what I do and cut cost on food...I spend maybe 40 a week on food total most weeks less. I make sure I get in my daily Macro amounts too. Sure I could and propbably should eat more. I also don't spend money on things like soda/coffee/snacks. That stuff adds up. Two months of a strict diet and you have yourself enough money for another pair of shoes...just bought strands, looks like I know what I have to do to make up for it over the next two months.

I do not spend all of my money on fine food and drink, women, double shotguns, and shoes & boots. But save some to spend foolishly instead.
