Shell MacNeil in burgundy today

At the beautiful Ayr Mount in Hillsborough, North Carolina on this Sunday afternoon. Though it's overcast today (great for photos of shoes), here's a picture from my last visit on a sunny January morning.

Thank you. I realized a forum search was pretty helpful, too, but I'm not positive I found this thread.

+1. Have to seriously consider those. Already have too many burgundy/oxblood shoes. Still considering.

Thats off the top of my head.  You can always edit/add to the first post.  I'm sure I missed some stuff but that would be a good start.  The linking to post info would be good too if you can find the posts in the old thread.  I know it can be a lot for a new person to absorb when they come for information only to be bombarded by lines and lines of talk about lasts.
Excellent.

Think that we could have this done by this coming Friday?

Can we have some people step up here to help out @watchidiot? I've only been in the game for about a year so I dont even know what I could write to help out our thread starter. I could maybe take soles? I've also added "other places to buy AE" to the list.

A color 8 / burgundy shell LWB is an absolutely essential classic for any shoe enthusiast!

Thanks again to everyone who recommended me the Franciscans. Again, I have high instep and I was surprised that these fit very comfortably...

Made it to the Port Washington, WI Shoe Bank on Saturday. After 3 hours of browsing I made it out with these:

McGregors in walnut. The color was very light for a walnut, so I hit the shoes with 3 coats of polish and now they are looking good. Time for their maiden voyage.

Have one, but in a balmoral. AE balmorals and my feet are not a good match.

I would not get too bonkers with the intro - AE changes so much and so many styles yearly. I think keeping it simple is fine...the power of Google is going to get most people the answers they want. A huge intro makes sense for something like Alden which is a tiny producer. I am happy to help in any way though.
