Yes, the 333 (University) is a bit wider.  It's slightly longer in the toebox as well, and longer overall (though some is ornamental length).  The 333 is one of my favorite lasts and fits TTS for me (I have to go up a half size or a width in the 65).

Chrome LBs yesterday. Obviously not meant to be in snow all day, but worked fine for a short while. These may be my favorite AEs.

My shell shoe care routine is as follows:

- Wipe down shoes with damp cloth

- Brush vigorously with horsehair brush

- Apply Bick 4 liberally all over shoes with cloth

- Brush vigorously with horsehair brush

- Apply VSC sparingly all over shoes with fingertips (wear a gloves)

- Buff vigorously with clean buffing cloth

If you get scuffs in the shoes, just brushing vigorously and using some Bick 4 will take care of most of them. If you get a deeper scuff, you could get some Alden brown paste tax (https://aldenshop.com/Store/DrawProducts.aspx?CategoryID=81&ParentID=2) and use a teeny bit of that to fill in the scuff.

Thanks!

No they don't usually. If they have them when they reach an outlet, they are instructed to remove them usually. I've had the SA leave them in before as a gesture, but it isn't normal practice.

A little bird told me that CAC may have some old-fashionedy burgundy bags lying around... gotta ask nicely.

Thanks for the feedback on that sketchy site everyone.  You echoed the concerns that I had so I think I'll be staying away and not providing them with my credit card info!

Ill add that instead of a damp cloth in the first part I just use some nitrile gloves and dip my fingers in water and spread over about 1/5 to 1/4 of the shoe (toe, left, right, back, etc) and brush right away. You can also get rid of scuffs scratches with water/ brushing/ boning as the water helps swell/moisturize the leather. Ymmv

Walnut Strands or Fifth Avenues.  Check www.shoebank.com, they are running a sale starting in Feb 1.

Black Rogue firsts for only $227? Is the Rogue selling poorly and being discontinued? If only I were in the market for a black shoe right now...

Thank you for your replies and suggestions guys, much appreciated wink.gif

1. Matt Riv - Walnut sounds tempting, I love that colour. Do you know if the shoe bank does flat rate UK shipping?

2. Rubik1014 - Black is a no go for me unfortunately - I don't have anything in my warderobe that will go with it except a suit 😄😆 brown would do the job better I guess 😬

I don't.  You would probably need to call and ask.

Also check out anything in bourbon, which has been discontinued like the Flatiron, Strand, Park Avenue, Fifth Avenue, McAllister.
