Yeah, a BCF find at $119.00 and I wish the Chili ones were in my size , but they're were two sizes too big.

I don't know if it's the little bit of extra shock absorption from the V-Tap rubber on the sole, but these are a pleasure to stroll in. smile.gif

Pep-style coffee shot on the subway platform, paired with my “chick-magnet” Thierry Mugler houndstooth wool overcoat. smile.gif

Looking good in walnut, I had the same sizing with these i.e. half down from my regular size and same width.

Am I over reacting here?

Some pics. Again these are First Quals.

My pair of macneil which I purchased through Club Monaco had similar issues and I was told by AE that this is caused by burnishing wheel. Club Monaco didn't have a replacement pair in my size so they offered me some discount which I accepted. I don't even notice this issue anymore..

All the money inthe world wouldn't let us MTO shoes in shell colors that AE doesnt have available. You could, possibly buy AE outright though.

I guess right amount of $ can make anything happen. Few months back I was in Pittsburgh at Nettleton shoe shop and I was told by them that they can MTO any of their shoes  in any Horween shell cordovan color (starting at $1400).

More cheap carpet:

Katmai's at hospital for Pre-Admission Testing this morning, which was more like Pre-Admission Endless Waiting.  No coffee until after blood-work.

Maybe I should tame those stacks.

When I first saw the Belmonts, I was "hmm.... not for me, but maybe in a boot."   Sure enough, I dig these First Avenues.

From what I recall, the speculation was that it's the 2 last

@Moose22 I tried responding to your earlier (longer) post but looks like my post didn't go through. I was going to suggest trying something on a different last altogether from those you listed. If I recall, you said the Rutledge bothered you a little, so I am pretty interested to hear your take on the Cornwallis - I think that's one of the few lasts with which I have no experience. Interested to hear if its better or worse.

If you want weave, id check out the new Orleans.
