Me too, sadly. This thread needs an injection of shoe pr0n. I wore my Carmimas today, but here's one from the AErchives...

Damn, this thread has become the "are these shoes acceptable" thread. Let's see some more shoes being worn! And the fits (and coffee) to go with them!

Sorry but if I drink coffee now at 8:30 p.m. I'll not be able to sleep. But this reminded me that I need to break in my Oxblood Leeds some more before I decide whether I keep them.

It's a bit cold here right now and getting colder:

so why not this:

Is this creasing on the front of the cap toe of my Park Avenue normal? This is my correct size and I keep them in shoe trees. I also condition and polish them every now and then. So I'm a bit confused...

The Cronmoks recently went on clearance, but there were none available in my size. I found a pair at the Shoebank though, and received them today.

When I started to lace them up, the defect that made these 2nds was clearly visible. On both shoes, the right half of the shoelace was longer than the left half.
Should I keep them? Could I try a different lacing pattern to minimize the effect of this flaw?

Gotta agree with Pep, let's get more fits/pics! I'll start with a few from my collection (most I still own)

I forgot to mention....
When I put the Cronmoks on, I was amazed by the fit and comfort. I'm convinced that someone snuck into my house and crafted these shoes around my feet as I slept.

But the Bourbon must not have been selling, or else they wouldn't dump the color.

Wow, those look great!  They look a fair bit darker than factory - what polish do you use?

To be honest, I'm not sure they are really Bourbon anymore.  I had trouble maintaining them with the AE Bourbon cream, so I switched to the Saphir Mahogany wax.  They are definitely darker than they were originally.

The Le Marche

Pretty comfortable, but on the right shoe there's some weird pressure on the top of my foot where the tongue of the shoe is. I blame myself because I was too lazy to tie my shoes tight his morning and didn't bother fixing it.

Maybe that would stop when AE improve their quality control department rather selling us majority of seconds and thirds.
