I love Daltons with jeans, although I agree it would work better with a reverse welt.

But yeah, basically any trousers that aren't smooth worsted wool would look cool...

Hey guys is this normal for suede? Looks like I'm getting my pants maybe rubbing and pulling up the nap, since is it is only happening around the ankles.

BTW picked up some brown grain Dundees. I'm really digging the Dundees. My next pair will be shell.

I have that on the toe of my Amoks. It's annoying.

Maybe try a crepe brush?

Out with the wife tonight for some birthday barbecue (at Dinosaur Barbecue here in NYC), so I went with the Black Haights with the Dainite sole—another Burlington find (for $99.00!) some time back. Two different fellow customers asked me about 'em. “Where did you get a Chelsea Boot with that kind of design on the toe?” asked one. The other, a pretty hipster-ish bearded fella in a porkpie hat asked while uncomfortable kneeling (for me, at least) “Are those from England?” “No” I replied—“Wisconsin, actually.” LOL.

Went with the Pep style shot, but as it was a little late for coffee, I opted for a fine 2013 Cab Sauv.

“Hiccup!” and Happy Holidays! :)

(And as they were when I first bought 'em in May)

Fit/volume is supposed to be the same for lined vs. unlined.

I'm relatively new to online AE purchases, so I'd like opinions on the condition of the shoes I just received.  Not sure which (if any) imperfections warrant an exchange.  A dent, a few scratches, and some trouble with one of the eyelets.  Pics below.  Thanks.

Not first quality. Not even seconds that I'd buy unless deeply discounted and for use as beaters.
