@gabru

Those look killer. Straight bar lace them though, will look cleaner

Thanks, shamefully I haven't invested anytime looking at lacing methods.

I travel a lot for work and getting through airport security is so much easier with this lacing method instead of bar lacing.

I don't see them as part of the 40% off sale. Perhaps I am missing something?

Cheers

Same as others. 34 should fit you. I'm a true 34 and I'm on the second to last hole in a 34 belt after break in.

Sadly, I must teturn my last shoebank purchase and haven't had to before. There was no return slip. Does this mean I need to call and get a RA or something?

Oxblood Dalton to start the week.

I hope everyone's Monday went smoothly, as always.

Bought the Walnut Strand Double-Flap Briefcase for $237 (second) for my brother for Christmas . . . but it's going to be really difficult to give it away!  Just got it in the mail today and it's beautiful.

My wife bought me one for Christmas - told her "you're getting me what's in this box." It looks great as well. I strongly considered one of the messenger bags. The lack of a handle was a deal breaker for me. I do like the way they look however.

Also have to return mine :'(

The toe was deformed and the upper totally misaligned - "garbage" seems to have creeped into "seconds" status.

Awesome.  I put the strap on the briefcase, but it seems a little short.  Even on the last "belt" hole (making it the longest possible), it seems a bit short for an over-the-shoulder bag.

Mine were merely scuffed a little. The real problem was that exactly where they were creasing was where my big toe was. Anytime I took a step walking any direction other than perfectly straight ahead, the side of my toe would get pinched. It felt like something hard was bruising my toe, and initially thought there was a defect in the lining. On further inspection, I determined otherwise. I guess you could call this a fit issue.

I suppose I'll wait until the next sale and grab a pair of firsts. I was also considering a brown pair of McGreggors on clearance. Any thoughts about brown long-wings with odd trousers and jacket? I'm on the fence with since the color is so dark. I'll probably just wait and get a dark brown FA. I would prefer the Thomastown if they came in brown.
