Fullertons today with blue tapered chinos. Not sure this is the best pairing, but think everything at least ties together. (Plus I didn't have to iron this morning.)

What experience has anyone here had with the AE Spray Waterproofer? I hear that it's not recommended for use on calfskin leather shoes and that it's mostly for suede or nubuck. Others say you can use them on any types of leather. I also read that you shouldn't use waterproof products on fine leathers because they clog the pores of the leather which will affect the quality and longevity of the shoe. What do you guys think? I bought the Spray Waterproofer so I could use it mainly on my calfskin leather shoes but I'm not sure if I should keep it or just return it...

@CanadaCal

Sorry about the bad cell phone pictures but here they are.  Some don't have the model and size printed.  I don't remember for sure but i don't think they have the factory seconds stamp.

Not looking to make money, just hope these will end up going to someone who can appreciate AE and its too-good-to-be-true-while-it-lasted SMU program.  If you are interested in any, PM me before Wed, I'm not looking to head to that place and deal with the madness.

Brown grain boots with lug sole.  I think they are the eagle county

McNiel Black and Choco Suede with flat lace.

Navy Suede Neumok with Red rubber sole (not Danite)

Sand Suede Neumok with red rubber sole. Same as above

Red/Orange Grain Leather Neumok with matching insole

Olive Strand/Strandmok standard leather sole

Not SMU but black Grayson

Question - are all the BB shakers on the site the one with the red plaid or are some of them like yours?  Don't think I could do the red plaid...

No, no, no.  Definitely do not use it on higher quality calfskin leather.

Works pretty well on my suede dundee 2.0s and suede wide basic belt though.

Thanks. Also, what's your opinion on the AE Salt and Stain Remover?

Thanks YS!  These are of interest...  Look like Horween Football.  What do they want for those?  Any way you can confirm they are indeed the EC?

So I am still on the fence about the slightly mismatched Cambridge pair from Shoe Bank.  Aside from the color difference, I noticed something else about the right shoe that is of some concern.  It seems on the right shoe, the upper was sewn on very close to the edge of the sole in one area of the shoe - on the inside of the shoe, where it gets wide at the ball of the foot.  Also, on that shoe, the shell seems to have not gotten the full color treatment, as its much lighter in that area.  Here are pics of both shoes for comparison purposes.

Left shoe (inside by ball of foot):

Right shoe (inside by ball of foot):

Close up of leather near sole at ball of foot:

So my question is, since the leather is sewn on so close to the edge of the sole, will this affect my ability to have these re-soled?  Will it limit it?  Also, what should I make of the discoloration near the sole?

All guidance is appreciated.  Thanks in advance!!

I'm pretty sure those were unmarked.  Now that you mentioned, the captoe is a bit too short to be EC.  They look closer to be the Promontory Point but the toe isn't as square.  I have both the EC and PP at home so PM me if you want pictures to compare.  Can't remember how much they were exactly. All of them were between $99-$139.
