Something like that would resolve with wear. My recommendation would be to wear these around the house on carpet and see if you can break into them. If it's still uncomfortable after a week, then return

How does the Cambridge differ from the McAllister? Is it that the Cambridge is of Shell Cordovan and with double leather sole?

Yes: the Cambridge is the same pattern as the McAllister, but is the shell and double leather sole version. An incomplete list of other Allen Edmonds shoes on the 65 last using the same pattern (with variations in the type of leather and/or sole) include the Neumok (unlined, distressed leather, Butyl sole), McTavish (waxy leather, double sole), Spiaggia (buck and patent leather versions with rubber sole), Ridgeway (contrast stitching and welt with commando sole), and Heritage (golf sole).

Love the hearty Vibram lugged sole on this soft leather!

Gigi says hello, now 18 weeks old.

Glad you got them! They look great. Can't remember if I told you this or not, but those *should* be on the 511 last. That's what got confirmed at least. Either way, enjoy!

These yesterday. Before I scuffed them real bad. Now there is 3in cut that runs from the camp to just below the moc stitch. I'm devastated as getting this tone of color8 is almost impossible now 😭😭😭

Do you have a picture of the scuff/cut?

Aargh. Yes, let's see the damage. Maybe @mdubs will have some insight on how to mitigate. I agree about the color. Looks almost like color 2. My parks are like these....

Cleaned up my Broadstreets before putting away for the season. Yeah, it's almost Thanksgiving but it was also 70 something here today. I didn't get nearly enough wears out of these this year. Probably because I've been wearing less suits. I worry these look too much like golf shoes in a casual outfit and end up reaching for something else.

@watchidiot ouch!!!  I'm sorry, Dale!!  How did that happen??

A couple of corrections: the Jefferson isn't/wasn't exactly the same pattern because it had no brogueing around the throat. I'm speaking of the 1.0.

The Broadstreet was on a different pattern withe a less prominent "V" on its wingtip. Also, it was on the 73 last.

The Heritage also has a different pattern as the wingtip is not as elevated and doesnt overlap the other broguing along the side.
