The Madison Park was brought up a bit ago. Comes in black and walnut.

Beat me to it. The Madison Park seems to at least have the same design, though I'm still unclear on the specific last. It has shown up at least in walnut in 9.5D on the shoebank as well for 231.75 during the sale.

Speaking of checking the images on Brooks Brothers Shoe Bank shoes...

When they discontinued the Shelton I decided to get the last 9Ds off the line.  They only had in the Brooks Brothers tan, which I assumed looked like this:

But in fact looks like this:

Normally, I would have sent them back.  Kind of a cool summer shoe, but I was looking for a cool FALL shoe.  But there ARE NO MORE SHELTONS, so I took some of this:

And some of this:

and made this:

Which I kind of like a little better, actually.

But DON'T BE LIKE ME KIDS GOOGLE YOUR IMAGES

EVEN THOUGH I'D DO IT AGAIN (cackles)

Those look to be killer fall shoes. I'm with you. I like your version even better.

These look great! I only wish the strap was a little longer. I don't like having the buckle so close to the top of the shoe. I have a pair of these in brown suede. How is the buckle on these? The buckle on the suede ones is the main reason I didn't buy a pair of the cordovan ones from Shoebank! It felt kind of plastic-y to me. But these shoes look great! Congrats!

If the latter, I don't think AE has images of the BB shoes—as they don't sell them, they don't have a reason to shoot any.

Just Google Brooks Brothers plus the model name, and you should get more images than you would get on SB.

There was a short time, less than a week, that BB shoes had pictures on Shoebank. Yes Google does work for most of the BB shoes. I Google any AE shoes I'm considering, and would recommend it to everyone.

Hey thanks!

Yeah, it's more subtle than the standard Shelton, I think, and certainly an improvement over the BB.  I was surprised how much I could alter the saddles with just a good-quality wax polish; though the contrast is a little deeper IRL than in the photo, really I didn't go nearly as far as I could have.  That stuff is ON there too, it's not rubbing off anytime soon, if ever.

Was going to throw some dark brown polish on the saddles as well, but I liked the results so well I just quit while I was ahead.

Could be instructive for anyone considering changing their Walnut shoes to Chili.

Speaking of the BB styles, give this a try - when all the BB show up as the empty boxes, click on any non BB style to see where they have it, then go back to the overall page. All the others with a few weird exceptions (like occasionally the khaki mct) should show up. This has always worked for me, at least with internet exploiter.

Speaking of the Shelton, I knew the BB one was the all tan and I liked the single tone much better. The darker color pushed it over the top - really nice job.

@Kahuna75 How does the overlord fit compared to the Normandy? I really like the look, but sometimes these limited size runs don't work out, with 7D being too large. The grippy heel on the Normandy was enough to compensate for the overly large space up front.

Too bad about the stitching - you don't know how many times I've heard that from people - they really must have messed up a lot if these.

The Overlord fits similar to a 65 lasted shoe for me. Compared to the Normandy though they fit similar and different in various ways. Similar in that I think I would wear a 12 in both dissimilar in that I could wear the Normandy in a 13 and be ok due to the rounded toe and being a boot along with the soft kudu it really allows you to tighten it up.

The Overlord fits me better in 13 overall in a out of box wearing but due to the longer toe it just feels too long for me...I could wear it but wont. The Overlord in 12D is snug and I would have to wear my standard cotton dress socks with them but I was able to get the V gap pretty snug again due to the soft Kudu. If it were a different leather I am not sure it would work for me. The key to both the Normandy and the 201 lasted Overlord is the footbed is wide enough to work for me - One thing I wont deal with any more is feeling the edge of the footbed on the botom of my foot.

If I had any plans to wear the Normandy with boot socks I would keep the 13.
