Pepper is correct, but I'll go a little further.  I'd say they were wildly different.  I feel like +/- 0.5 sizes, most people could get the 333 to work.  With the 222, I think the majority of people will hate it totally.  It seems to work really well if you have high arches and a narrow width.  Personally I wish they made more styles on it, it's like a godsend.

I check the shoebank daily too...prices have not changed. 25% discount...I do not see it. Prices there are still well worth it.

Prices are the same at shoebank.com as last week when I checked. No additional discount (not seeing the 25% either).

When you go to shoebank, do you see the red ribbon in top left corner? If so, you should see all previously offered 299 offerings at 224.25 and other prices corresponding on all currently offered styles and colors.

If you don't. I'm guessing you have some sort of browser issue.

I saw the prices yesterday. then after the site was down for a few hours today, it came back up with the red banner and updated inventory list.

In case there is any doubt , here are some screenshots I just took. notice the date at top and price of ascher. Brooks at 150 and Daltons at 250.

It boggles my mind that people on here think the sale is some kind of hoodwink. The sale started a few days earlier than posted, but it absolutely is a sale. Most of the models listed at $224 were definitely $250-299 prior to a few days ago. The Daltons were definitely higher than $254.

Not every shoe is on sale. If that's the gripe, it's an odd one. But there are definitely some decent deals.

I think so also, except....

I'm left-handed, so I thread my belt through the loops clockwise. When you do that, the writing on the buckle is upside-down rotflmao.gif

It is. Glad to see someone recognize the reference! I usually throw a little picture of a sloth up as my avatar. xD

Hah! Thank you very much, this gave me a bargaining idea. My wife wants the Millenium Falcon :)

I've got a pair of black captoe bluchers (AE Lexington) and burbon/oak/medium brown captoe balmorals with lots of brouging (Mermin Antique Oak Calf).

I've also got a pair of medium brown wingtip bluchers that were inexpensive and at the end of their life. What should I replace them with?

I wear a shirt and tie most days and a suit or jacket on days with meetings.

I've got a few pairs of boots (Moc toe and Red Wing Beckman) and I don't think a dress boot would be very versatile for me
