agree the grain looks great and offsets the toe cap creasing - but agree with prior all depends what you are looking to wear it with.

New arrivals

Brown Northland seconds - stamped and have some poor leather on one shoe near the heel and waxy build up to be cleaned off (Keepers)

Golden Brown Maritime seconds - not stamped and appear flawless, beautiful color on them (Keepers)

Loden Suede Cavanaugh firsts - Flawless looking but having fit issues. Have a bit of pain on the left vamp from the strap. Heel is boarderline loose so I don't think sizing up or out a width will help. Will give them some carpet time at home and see if they are going to be staying (Undecided)

The loden suede is a great color in person and the toe stitching is a really sharp looking contrasting dark tan/brown thread.

And got the daltons too. Don't hate me but I don't think I am a boot person. They feel too clunky to me and squek a lot!

I know I asked this before but do not recall the answer - How you guys sizing Dundee 2.0...after seeing that the loden color may be more green - really considering it. I think some mentioned the Dundee 2.0 is much roomier.

I am in the same boat. They are making me a pair of the brown burnished and should be ready in a week or two. I have the pebble and it's great, but I may go brown because I think I think I can dress it up and down better, since pebble is more casual. BuThe once it comes in, I'll make my final decision.

Those look nice! Is the cap toe further back from the PA?

Also, it looks like the got rid of the Allen Edmonds plate on the Indy soles. Is it a stamp now?

I don't love the non-fully-reinforced cap toes.

I have an AE black cherry shell. it's the single sole PTB below on the left. the storm welted Hanover next to it I suspect was the same color but I was never able to confirm
