As someone already said, they aren't the sturdiest thing in the world. They hold shoes though and I haven't experienced the issues with the dowels breaking. They only come one row at a time. (not as pictured). But I think they are a really good buy if you catch them under $10 a pair or buy one get two free.

Thank you both. I can always put small metal brackets to make it sturdy. Is there sufficient clearance between the rows, once you stack them? In the picture, the shelves seem to be very close to each other.

They are as narrow as can they can be for typical shoes, thus I can get three stacked below my jackets. The lower rack can be a little tricky, but all mine fit.

FYI, if anyone is in the market for suede shoes, Nordstrom Rack has navy, snuff, dark brown and stone McGregors in limited sizes online for $142.

I am not sure which last they are on (has to be 108 or 222) but they fit well in my regular size 10E (strand, macneil suede, dalton)

Think they could have done a better job with the toe medallion...

Great!  What kind of soles do they come with?

So my first pair of Allen Edmonds to keep :)

Question, are they okay to wear with jeans?

Picked up a pair of snuff suede Dundee's and matching belt. Still trying to decide between the dalton or first avenue and which color as well.

I own 3 pairs of AE shoes. My 5th Avenues are pretty squeaky with a lot of noise coming from under the laces between tongue. Even when I lace them super tight it's still there when I walk.

My Mcallisters are dead quiet. I've worn them both for at least 60 days each.

Any remedy to make this go away?

So . . . I've had these shoes for about a year now but have never worn them except a few times around the house (carpet/wood floors) to try them on for size. I am a 9.5 3E in the 65 last, and I picked these up knowing that they are half a size too big for me. I couldn't resist. After considering using tongue pads, inserts, thicker socks, etc., I've realized that it's probably best to pass them on to someone who is a 10 3E and can enjoy them properly.

New Walnut Shell Cordovan Strands. Yes, walnut shell. Yes, new. Happy to answer any questions, and eager to find them a loving home.

Nice one, great looking boots!

I did the same, but had to have them shipped to me. Also got the Oxblood Dalton's with custom Dainite and matching belt en route.

I own the Dalton in Walnut, you can't go wrong with any color really it seems :slayer:

Fairly certain I handled that pair at the Madison ave store. Almost considered cutting off my left big toe to be able to fit.

Just beautiful...bourbon casuals them down nicely for jeans.

These Dundees are great, nice decision to grab the belt too.  With suede boots already in closet, next pair needs versatility...maybe dark chili Daltons or brown burnished First Aves?
