@cc808314 My recommendation...how about doing your friend Neo a huge favor 😉

There's a burgundy Cambridge, 7.5C, that I tried on like 3x already. Really good condition, a little dark. Can you please get this thing and put it out of my mind already? I don't have any room left 😃

I am not concerned with flashiness. They will both be fine for my work setting. However, I am concerned with possible duplication. I already have brown Jefferson and plan on getting oxblood Dalton and burgundy MacNeil down the road. The only cap toe medallion that I have is walnut Sanford butcher. My heart says go with McAllister (I have a soft spot for Merlot short wings), but my head says Strand.

LOL. Those thing have been there for a while. I wonder if the color will lighten up.

The Allen Edmonds website no longer lists the Kenilworth. Have they been discontinued, or am I missing something?

They've been discontinued.

They made em in chili for Brooks Brother. Better color, better sole, and half the price on the shoe bank:D

Seriously? :brick: I thought that the Kenilworth was one of their more popular models.

I don't really like the look of the Jodox. It just seems a little weird, particularly with the two eyelet design and the "chevron"-ish side piece.

So what's the belt recommendation with them?  I can't remember which of my in-store pix is color-accurate...

Second of all, I just ordered a pair of Brooks Aberdeens to help with the sloppy weather here.

I need help.

Thats alright. Wife took feverish kid to the doctor and I went to Village des Valeurs to look at some cord jacket replacement. Noticed someone over at the men's shoe rack looking at a leather soled shoe. Never seen one there so far so I went to take a look when he put them down. No AE (sorry) but some nice dark brown suede Carmina double monk straps. The sole is worn to the stitching but that can be fixed. $20 CAD. That's less than half of the AE shipping on a McT to Canada for a 320€ shoe biggrin.gif

Thanks

I went the same size as other 5 last shoes. I too found just a tad larger. I usually wear mine with a crew sock and they fit perfect.
