BB Presidios I grabbed last sale. I see they are again $99. I understand they are a pain to fit for some, especially because of the Poron. I'm not really a fan of the Poron having tried it with the BB strands I purchased a while back, but these broke in quite nicely, though it was a fairly lengthy break-in period. For a pair of v-treads at $99, I can deal with the Poron. Only wish they had an oxblood or chili version.

Looks like no additional drops, so whatever 2nds were discounted are it. A bit disappointed as I was hoping to get my jeffersons even cheaper, but they were a great deal with an amex offer I stacked on top.

And that is the path I'm heading down! :fistbump:

I purchased the Gobi earlier.  Now, I'm trying to make the decision if it's worth $60 to get a first Long Branch as opposed to the second.  Also, can't decide between dark brown or the chromexcel...:puzzled:

Long Branch is very nice boot, I have the brown one. However, one thing to note is that AE has started using the lightweight gumlite sole on them, which I am not a fan of. I am glad mine have the heavy duty vibram rubber soles.

Kenwood are TTS. I wear 9D in them, 8.5 D Alden Barrie (which runs .5 size big), 9D in most other stuff

Shell Kenwood is clearance - it's actually been 297 for quite some time now.😉

Thanks - I am thinking of getting the tan and then eventually having them re-soled with a Reltex Lactae Hevea sole for summer wearing goodness next year

Mine is like yours with the heavier sole and I prefer that too. For the life of me I will never understand why AE stopped offering the Waxy Brown that mine are it really is terrific bad weather leather

Do the outlet stores have all of their inventory listed on shoebank?

They do not. There have been a few times that my SA was able to uncover a few pairs of shoes listed in the inventory system that did not show on Shoebank.

I'm considering a pair of Fifth Avenues in either Dark Chili or Brown. Which of the two works better with a grey/charcoal or navy suit?

Not even close. Most outlets have many pairs of SMUs and discontinued 1sts that are not listed on the Shoe Bank inventory.

They're listed at the very end, alphabetically (before the shoes with no photos start) as simply "9844."

I'm inbetween this and a Burgundy Kenwood 8.5EEE that's on sale for $297. I'm a 8.5EEE on the 5 last and it's never been too comfortable for me. Perhaps the 9EEE McGraw would be better?

The McGraw's (234 last) generally run a bit long. They advise that you size down half a size.

PC PoV for today.

@cc808314 I can't stand that gumlite sole😒

The stores have leftover SMUs and shell SMUs, plus some other weird stuff not made by AE at all. I don't think they list JAB or RL stuff either. Firsts I think they return to port and can't hold onto.
