picked this strand bag up - a second though I have not figured out why - very impressive - Also grabbed a Filson small duffle(on sale) as I was going to choose between the two - well decided to  keep both - Filson is great for Gym- 1 or two night overnights while the AE bag can probably to 4 or 5 nights without an effort

Nice weather resistant pocket for tablet

three stitched in pockets

Offset shoulder strap clips - makes for great balance

I dont have any other AE shoes at this time, but here is a visual comparison against various makers. While the finishing is not anywhere near EG, the pair that I have is finished well and better than the Carmina I have. The 1943 last is probably AE's most elegant last to date, one that can compete.

EG 82, Vass F, AE 1943, EG 89, Carmina Rain

Re: the red and green saddle shoes. Only At Christmas, but I can't think of any other reason. That's just me.

Which last has the most space in the toe-box?

I have apparently lost out on a pair of $97 Jeffersons from Shoebank. They were on the website last night and gone today.

1) PA black
2) PA oxblood (relatively new addition)
3) FA dark brown
4) McGraw dark brown
5) McAllister merlot
6) Jefferson walnut (relatively new addition)
7) Strand walnut

Here are the shoes I'm looking at right now:

1) Strand bourbon or Bob's chili
2) Mora 2.0 dark brown
3) Grayson oxblood

I think I'll eventually get all three, but was wondering which direction I should head first. In particular, I'm struggling with choosing the color of the Strand. I feel like I want to like the bourbon color, but have hesitations about it when I see it in person. I've seen Bob's chili, and like it, but haven't seen it in the Strand model. Any thoughts or suggestions?

I should add that I am also considering the BB MacNeil in chocolate suede or chili grain from the shoebank.

I'm not exactly sure yet...They haven't given us a description of it and I only have limited practical experience with it. I range from 11 E, 11.5 D, 11.5 E, 12 B, 12 C, and 12 D, depending on the last, and I took a 12 D in these. It doesn't have as much length in the toe as the 5 last, but it seems to hug the foot very nicely. I absolutely love the fit.

If you wear cords or anything pants wise that is textured fairly regular I would go with the macneil suede. I dont have a clue how to pair that shoe with dressier attire. Otherwise the mcneil chiligrain can be dressed up or down.
