Indeed. I noticed the stone suede McGregors are down to $127 in case anybody is looking at those. I already have a pair, but I'm getting tempted by other stuff. Trying to hold out until fall.. crazy.gif

Just picked these up from the shoebank.  Jeffersons on clearance for $197.00!  So happy with them.

Very nice!!! Did you put a polish on them? Or did they come home like that?

Did Macy's stop selling AE shoes? I don't see any on the website. What am I suppose to spend these gift cards on now?

Yes they stop selling AE sometimes last year.  I guess you can buy some Cole Haan there. :bounce2:

Most people aren't aware until I tell them. Then they think it's cool. Then they think I'm nuts paying that much for a custom pair of shoes. Then they think I'm fancy.

Don't forget that most of the stores have that vending machine with the electronics - you could use it there :)

I have a few pairs of brown Allen Edmonds, I don't ever really wear black except for maybe once every other year or so I need a tux, and the occasional funeral. There's a pair of black Central Parks on shoe bank in my size for $127, was thinking they could cover those two occasions. Opinions or suggestions?

Not that long ago they had these in my size too - when I saw them in person I just didn't think I could pull off that look.  If you feel like you can they're definitely great.

I got to see these - this was my take.  On the one hand, they claim that they're like the best suede material out there, etc.  They did look and feel pretty amazing (I didn't get to try them on, no sizes).  But I was told they were non-recraftable.  So they're unlined, suede and unrecraftable.  Unless I moved to Hawaii or Aruba I probably would never use them enough to justify the pricetag.  If you're looking for these real summery types of styles, keep in mind you could get three maritimes for one of these.  Just saying.

Those Walnut Jeffersons are beautiful.  I've got a pair from the Shoebank coming tomorrow.

As far as the width, do they run wide, narrow, or true to size?

Just happened upon these Normandy boots in the Nordy website. These do look better than the pair of "no warranty" that were up on the bay.
