Unfortunately I can't. Spring 2016 looks most likely. You never know though, could be a late fall addition?

I told him one of aE's advantages was odd widths but that advantage is deminished if they aren't in the stores to try on. He agreed.

If I have to guess on the fit I'm more likely to order another Carmina.
This has been a big disappointment for me.
The last time that I went in to try a shoe (Rogue), they didn't have one in my size. In fact, they only had one shoe in the store in my size (13B), which he brought out for me to try. I don't know why he wasted our time, as I had walked in wearing a shoe made on the same last that he brought out for me to try.
For me, if I'm going to guess on a shoe size, I'll try the Shoebank.

And have over 30 pairs of 511/511g lasted shoes/boots.

My preferences:

511

234

Consider adding a Wilbert in CXL, (Golden Brown is on AE clearance) and Dark Brown is beautiful.

Recently added a pair of 234 lasted Addisons and dark brown 511 lasted Wilberts, both fit well.

I've skipped past before the Wilbert thinking it's not the most interesting shoe, but I bet for casual/business casual wear with jeans (which I'm in 90% of the time anyway) it's probably a great option. Going to also add to my list to try in person.

That's disappointing, but are you really surprised that a retail store isn't going to have an ample stock of shoes in size 13B?

I wasn't expecting the store to have every shoe in a 13B.
I expect the store to have more than one shoe in that size. I would like to see the store to have one shoe in each last (or at least the more popular lasts).

That's reasonable. I would hope the same. Is it a larger retail store or one of the smaller ones?

I'm really starting to get pissed with AE quality and becoming a non believer. Ordered a pair of 2nd Park Aves. 4-5 wears the heel starts coming off. Sent them back had them resoled (just the heels) and after 1 wear the heel is coming off again. Cmon....and with all the fit issues it's just not worth it anymore.

I thought that was a reasonable expectation -- especially when AE is introducing new lasts.

I've only seen one retail store, so I don't have anything to compare it to. I would guess that it's a small store (Columbus, OH).

I have discovered other brands that work for me, but I'm wondering if anyone else that has this problem found other lasts from AE that fit well for them? I looked at the Road Warriors, which fit fine, but they were very clunky in the toe box and i didn't think the quality was up there with the other styles.

Thanks!

I have a wide forefoot/ball and  more narrow heel, so the extra room up front of the 511 is better for me; I either have to endure the painful break in of 65 on my right pinky, which i've never had in the 511, or get some stretch in that area to be comfortable in that area while still fitting well everywhere else.

Speaking of the 511:

Stumbled upon the elusive Carson City boot yesterday at NR, that I never would've considered until a recent post by @watchidiot brought them into my periphery... The softest leather I've felt on any AE, the chili color is incredible with accompanying burnish, and because of my second AE purchase (the grey Long Branch in E width) I was happy to see that this was a D. Still iffy about the sole, but am looking forward to the resole...the possibilities.  At $169 for firsts this will become a $219 Chili Dalton/Long Branch after resole. Thanks, watch.

The color is nuts IRL I swear...one of the best finished AE that I own.

Your Carson City looks awesome!
And I like the sole.

If anyone sees a pair of these in 9E or something close, I will gladly compensate you to proxy them for me.

Does everyone size the same on the Dalton and Leeds? Not sure if either is on the 511g or anything like that. Thanks

Thanks, @mreams99 - I recently purchased a chukka with a similar light wedge sole on camo leather, and grew to like the style - all my boots have leather or dainite soles so this adds a new dimension to my pairings with cargo pants, chinos, cords and jeans. They're growing on me, really ;)

I had never seen them before at a Rack (or didn't notice may be more accurate), so to see them in my size was a real surprise. I'll keep an eye out for you here in Chicago, though. I usually am locked in on my size(s) when I step in most stores!

JAB only carries them in D width. I was very very disappointed in this as I'm a 10E and love the 8 last.

I thought the JAB ones were on the 7, not the 8.
