I panicked this morning when the website didn't have anymore in my size. So I walked down to the LaSalle Street store and got the last pair of 10.5 D. I think it's a major mistake that they are discontinuing the Rush Street. Maiden voyage tomorrow.

Finally, can anyone give some guidance about sizing on the 333 last?  I measure a 10D on the brannock device and have a high-ish instep.  I wear a 10D in both the 65 last and the 108 last.  Both lasts are comfortable for me but feel a hair long (mainly the 65 last).  I previously tried a 333 in size 10E and found them to be even a shade longer than 65 last to the point that I returned them (nevermind the width, I've dropped some lbs since that time).  Anyway, I'm thinking the 9.5D should be the right size? Or maybe the 10D?

My Fort Collins on the 333 look (!) long but aren't really very long inside. I have 3E though and wide feet. I got them in 8 and theres not too much space left in the front until I would hit the narrowing toe area.

And BTW - please don't pass up that Big Sur for the love of god :)

I did pass up on the sand-colored Big Sur as it was too small for me...but look what Papa found a few days later....

A pair of Nutmeg “Big Surs” in my size for only $99!

Did I get em'?

You bet your lug-soled *ss I did! Can NOT wait to break these out come Aug/Sept/Oct. :)

Love the look of this particular style in their “Rough Collection”, and in Nutmeg, it's perfect for the Fall!

I've been verrrrrrrry lucky with the stuff I find at BCF. Even got a friend of mine a few pairs in a men's 7D—they do have a few in the small sizes, and the friend has been blown away!

Spread the appreciation, share the wealth! :)

I have now vastly updated my rotation in the last couple of months adding Walnut Jefferson, Burgundy Clifton, Chili Delray, Merlot Park Ave, and now (assuming fit is good) the Walnut Rutledge.

Congrats and let me know if the Rutledge fits in the 9.5D.

I love my pair of Rush Street shoes!

Standmok's in B width, Strands in C width.

Kind of weird how long the Strandmok is compare to the Strand. Also kinda bugs me that the crease on the Strandmok isn't straight across. Anyone else get weird creases like this?

Last, has anyone started out with their laces being close together as on my Strands, and then the shoe stretches and then one can't lace them down anymore?

Speaking of Rush Streets, they look darker in photos than they do in person.  I just picked up a pair from the Shoe Bank, but when they arrived today the color was indistinguishable from my Tan Strandmoks, even though the two kinds of leathers are different.  I will have to return the Rush Streets unless there is a reliable method of darkening the CXL leather in a way that would be attractive.

Any thoughts?

Thanks for sharing this info - wound up scoring a pair of merlot maxfield firsts - I had pretty much dismissed these as I already have two Nashuas but hey, for 79 who can complain.

FYI - been seeing quite a few black Franciscans in higher sizes like 11-12.

The Franciscan is lovely. haven't seen any of those here. Where are you located?

@mreams, funny after I describe the 222, all I get is crickets....😊 seriously though, I wish more people would try it. AE refers to the 65 as the most popular, gee I wonder why? Because that's all the stores carry maybe?

also a huge fan of the rush street, awesome shoes.

I have not had that happen yet, the only thing I can think of perhaps is that the leather dried out some. Do you use shoe trees in them? Try using lexol or bick 4 on them fairly generously then wrap your shoe trees with a gym sock and put in the shoe that should help stretch it a bit.

Of course I have no idea if that will work but if they were mine that is what I would do. I have had success stretching my shoes this way...and my stretching I mean in the smallest of ways.

As far as I can tell the only current models are the Eagle River and the Norwich. I had trouble sizing the Norwich while the Eagle river being a boot I had to size it using my 65 last balmoral sizing...

My measured size is 13E which I wear in the 511 last typically...a smidge on the long side, the Shaker Height boot on the 73 last fits me best of all and I wear a 13D so to go down to a 12eee for a 222 lasted boot makes it an odd fitting last for my foot and I would think others too. One day I would like to try it on in 12E just to see how it fits but when ordering GMTO boots below I could not get a good read on the Norwich and took a chance - it paid off and they fit well

Black Grain with Bourbon

Merlot

hi guys,

quick question, 9D 65 last fits me like a glove. So what size I should look for on Dalton? still 9D?

also, do they do the price match on phone call orders?

thank you very very much
