Mine just arrived. For $69 this thing is an absolute steal.  Very soft supple leather, and of course made in the USA.

My daily bag is a tan Filson Original 256, but I wanted something in leather for when I go to court. This thing is sharp.

My only complaint would be that the strap is a little long, even on the shortest setting. I'm 6', and the bag hangs around my knees. I'll probably just take it off.

Where did you find the bag for $69? Do they sell them through the shoe bank? If so, they certainly don't list them on their website. Thanks for helping out

How deep is the scuff?  If it's on the surface it may just take a little elbow grease with saddle soap or AE's conditioner cleaner... a nominal investment for a $385 shoe that only cost you $199.

The tradeoff with Factory 2nds is you never know what the imperfection will be.  AE also charges a $10 restocking fee for all returned 2nds, which is perfectly fair considering if you do return them to get a different pair they will have paid to ship shoes to you 3 times

Which one of these three would you go with?

Carlyle, Fifth Ave, or McCallister? All in bourbon

I already have Strand (walnut) and McGregor (chili).

Thanks much!

Since you have some perf'd shoes in other colors, the Carlyle may be a good change. I find my Carlyes in bourbon to be my favorite shoe. Very versatile.

Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

I'd probably send those back.

Perimeter or Buckhead? If you have time, take everything (box, paperwork, shoes) to the store with you and have them assess them with you. I'm pretty sure if you want to send them back and leave them in the store to do the return, it doesn't cost you the $10 return shipping fee.

Plus Moynihan (my company's CEO) is town, so it doesn't hurt to be ready for a chat...

Watch it! If he sees you in those boots, he might think they're paying you too much! happy.gif

They look great.

If anyone wanted more pics of the Kirkwood in these two colors, here they are.

Both look great! This is why I got Kirkwood in golden, and Maritime in dark.

I'm trying to understand the difference between the Lasalle and Delray. Both are on th 108 last. Is there a difference in construction or materials?

The Lasalle has a Poron cushioned insole, the Delray, does not.

Is the "foam comfort wrapped insole" in the stock Heritage golf show the same as the insole of the Brooks Brothers shoes?
