Thanks.. but tent sale should be at least little less than other long weekend sales. We just had memorial day and again we'll have one during July 4th.. there's nothing unique with this 'tent sale' in June if you gonna keep the same prices.

I'd love $325 like the Rediscover America Sale, but I'd put my money on $424.15.

So will McAllister and Fifth Aves not be 229 as well?  Are the mailers just highlighting some of the shoes (i assume they can't show every style on sale)?

Also, anyone have a comparison of the merlot vs. oxblood?  Looking at another pair of PA's.  Can't decide and no AE store nearby.

thanks!

I don't think you'll see 5ths & McAllister that low - usually the mailer shows the highest discounts.

If anyone doesn't already own the neumok and didn't get it from the Nordstrom sale, the acorn is really versatile compared to the others - might be a good time to pick up a pair.

so they'll probably only drop to the 254 price?  Good to know.

RE: the Neumok and Strandmok.  AE Customer Service told me that the difference in those shoes I should order 12 vs. 12.5 (I wear in Strand & PA).  Anyone have sizing experience with those?  She said the Neumok/Strandmok are reverse welt and are roomy than the PA/Strand.

Are they going to be worn a few times a week? If so I would suggest merlot...you could always darken it over time with some black polish.

I love Oxeblood wore my Daltons today but in about 15 minutes I scuffed some of the burnishing off. They look beautiful.

Suede is from CF Stead so I am assuming that is an upgrade.

I do like the blue suede better in this make up than the black dainite gobi makeup and it looks like they did that nice rounded edge on the sole side

Well I did some asking around in other threads and seems CF Stead is one of the best regarded suede tanneries in the world...so I guess these Mojave 2 will have some nice suede for sure.  Will have to keep my eyes peeled for a navy pair

Yes, C.F. Stead suede is what Alden uses for their suede. I believe some of the English makers use them as well.

Hi all

Quick questions on Daltons....

i) If I'm considering pre-owned, should I go for pre-owned factory (used) OR Shoebank (factory seconds)?

ii) I've tried size 9 Strands at Nordstrom and they fit me perfect . Do the Daltons fare similarly in size/fitting OR should I go 1/2 size up to 9.5?

iii) In terms of color variation, how much of a difference is there between the Walnut and the Walnut Burnished Calf? I really like the Walnut color but online pics on either models can be deceiving VS real life color..

Thanks in advance!

PSA: Nordstrom Rack's website has a nice looking 6th Avenue in chestnut in many sizes.  Not bad at $199.

I have the Neumok & Rush Street and tried the Strandmok but decided against it since I thought the colors were so bad.  Would NOT change sizes in the Neumok/Strandmok - they are totally unlined, so the toebox feels larger and they bend slightly more for me, but no way would I size down in them.  Roomier than the PA & Strand, yeah, but not that much.

I got the Daltons in the same length size as the PA but with high arches, they destroyed me without going up a width too.

I have those exact same shoes / same color - absolutely awesome shoes.  Felt a little tight at first but now one of my go-to's.  Excellent fit for me.  The 222 is like a godsend for high arch people.

Was just wearing these one last time to make sure I was set on selling them. I think I may have changed my mind.
