I'm planning on picking up the Navy Maritime & the Brown Kirkwood once it's on sale.  I just can't decide between the brown or the golden brown Kirkwoods.  Has anyone seen both in person and have any preference on which one is more versatile?  Thanks!

I have.  They had the Kirkwood in golden and in dark brown at the Denver store.  I think the golden brown is a better summer color - looks like a faded brown which I love.  I would have bought the Maritime in golden brown when I was there, but they were already sold out nation wide in my size.  BTW, they are honoring the sales price now, and they said they are rapidly running out of inventory - the Maritime in particular has been a big hit.

Thanks.  I just checked on AE.com & the Maritime in navy is no longer available in my size (8 EEE).  It doesn't even give me an option to order now and have it made later on.  Sigh...

First wear for this pair. I guess they are growing on me... Anyone else tried these or others from this line/last?

Contact your local AE store. It should be able to be ordered still.

Hey guys,

I'm relocating myself to the UK and trying to get rid of the last of the shoes I won't be bringing. I've got three left if anybody is interested. I don't think you'll find better prices anywhere else. All three fit very similar; the 8D in the independence collection fits me like an 8.5D in others. The three total to $700, but if you buy all three I can do $550 shipped. The Black Harrisons alone retailed for $495 and are discontinued.

The shoes are in my signature.

PM me with offers/interests.

Harrison is on the 3 last right? Too bad I would have given it some thought as I'M a 8D in all my AE collection

Im looking for some Penny Loafers advice please. Living 2 hours from Vass in Budapest and visiting home in the UK frequently I have all the shoes (more or less) I want with the exception of a classic penny loafer. For me the American style with the round toe and a high front section coming high up the instep is the one I'm after. The UK shoemakers (C&J, Loake, etc) seem to favour a pointed toe or a slipper like look which doesn't appeal to me. As a classic US producer which AE model should I be looking at ( sadly I will have to order over the Internet as I don't think they have European stockists), or should I be considering some other brand. Thanks

PSA: the AE shop on Michigan Ave in Chicago has an extra natural shell Dundee in 11 3E (pretty sure on the size but I am not positive). Brown split-reverse welt with a single toby full mini-lug sole. One of you guys has gotta have gigantic feet...
