Well, the 201 last and the 65 last are very similar. In my experience, the 201 last is a touch longer, with a slightly higher instep/cone.

Here's my thinking. The 65 last is a long last, but so is the 201. They're pretty much the same length. On the other hand, the 65 last is quite narrow. The 201 last is around the same width, but it's got a roomier toebox and a higher instep.

Here are your options:

10.5 D Rogue - this will probably be the best length for you, but it might be too wide.
10.5 B Rogue - again the right length, but it might be too narrow. However, since the Rogue has a roomier toebox and higher instep, you might be able to compensate for slightly narrow fit because of the last and because the Rogue is a blucher.
11 B Rogue - will be too long for you but might be a good width

If you are willing to wear slightly thicker socks in the event that the 10.5 D Rogue is too wide, go for that. If you are going to wear thin dress socks and are willing to take a chance, go with the 10.5 B Rogue. Or, order both and return whichever one doesn't fit right.

You could also inquire about having the Rogue made in 10.5C if you determine that D is too wide and B is too narrow - I believe they can do that for a fee (~$40?), but I'm not sure if they even have any C-width 201 lasts to use to make those shoes.

I suspect the 10.5B Rogue will actually work best, given the last and the blucher / open lacing style.

Sweet!  Deets on the bag?

It is from Wilson's Leather.  Inside tag says "Pelle Studio" and was bought probably 2-3 years ago.  It has served me very well over the last few years but last week I the attachment point for the strap broke and it's now strictly a briefcase... :cloud:

They did some WebGems a year or so ago with alligator and ostrich.

I apologize for my ignorance, but what is a webgem?  Is it just an online only exclusive?  Or is it more of flash/lightning sale?  How does one find out about them?  TIA!

I believe you need to special order any exotic leather. Contact your favorite sales associate or call AE's main number at the consume assistance center (CAC).

Periodically, AE will do special makeup shoes that are only available for a limited time online only. They call these Webgems.

They are usually standard models (Strand, McAllister, etc) but with different leathers, colors, etc. They have done exotic skin Webgems in the past. But you don't know what they are going to be until they show up on the website. They will usually have a link to the Webgems on the opening website page.

I think they've discontinued the webgem as a concept. Replaced by "limited time" styles at full price. The web gems were typically discounted quite nicely. Au revior, webgem, my old friend....

Anyway, appreciating my cordovan Park Avenues today!

Love these.

Good they looked thick to me...I've been dying in the heat this week in DC. I don't wear socks in the summer so all my aes will be work with bare feet. T

Took the moras out while getting my hair cut today. No creasing yet on the toe box like some reviews have indicated but I'll keep my eye on it.

Small amount of flaring on the inside of the shoe. But that happens with my park aves. I don't know how people slip these on though ?

You're a brave man to go sockless. I would get swamp foot. I suppose that's what gold bond is for!

I'm usually much more casual at work, but my students have a concert tonight, so I endeavored to look more presentable.

I have Neumoras (neumorae???) and wouldn't dream of trying to cram th on without unbuckling the strap. But then again, I do have wide, duck-like forefeet.

My feet and hands don't perspirate which is great, but also leaves them severely dry and cracked even when it's as humid as it has been.
