Can i get some sizing advice on the 65 last? The 10.5E fits me pretty good but it's a tad bit tight in the toe box and a bit too wide in the heel. A SA suggested I size up and more narrow so I ordered an 11.5C, which is great in the heel, but feels too long and unnatural where I flex. Any thoughts on what to try next? 11D?

11D is what I would have recommended you try after the 10E and it sounds like that is still the case. :-)

Already wore them some today, enjoy them immensely! Very comfortable.
After much experience with many lasts, I believe the 108 is the best fit for me. Carlyle, Mora, Weybridge, all very comfortable.

Any of you use Tapatalk to access SF? I use it for a couple different forums, but I consistently get an error message with SF saying there's an XML issue. Wondering if it's my phone (old iPhone 4S), or the site that is giving the problems. I was thinking it was the phone, but with other forums displaying perfectly fine, I'm baffled.

I had mine on yesterday. They just keep looking better and better.

Speaking of great models discontinued for reasons unknown, the unlined snuff suede Neumoc, tastefully paired with Father's Day bike socks.😄

I recall reading that the Kenilworth fits on the large side of the 65 last.

I'm a pretty good 9D in the Strand.  I have a bit of length to spare.

Should I go 8.5D or E in the Kenilworth?

I have a pretty low instep.  I have tried the 108 and 333 last in 8.5D and had a bit of toe pinch but less heel slip due to filling the back portion of the shoe.

You bet it does. But not enough for me to change sizes between 5 last bals. To compound the matter, mine are in brown shell, which tends to fit slightly looser as well.

But like you, I have very low insteps so the laces close all the way. But.... The sides of my balls (shut up, Beavis) are still completely where they should be regarding width, so going down from a 3E to an E wouldn't have been an option. Me heel fits great too. I just think inside it's roomier than my strands, parks, mcallisters, McTavishes, etc.

Pics for reference:

Kenilworth

Jefferson:

Park Ave:

All 3 are size 10.5 3E. You notice that there is a lot more excess leather to crease on the vamp of the Kenilworth. Oh well, the shows feel great and look great (to me, at least.)

I would suggest trying the same size as your Strand, as I haven't noticed any significant difference in length of width (just depth).

Shell "Hinsdale" today. These are the ones I got for $100. They were even better than they looked in the pics. Used a sock and water to removed built up pollish, then brushed and applied a thin layer of wax. BOOM! They could be shinier, but I want to use them mostly casually, so I am happy with where they are.

Thanks pep!  I've wanted to try an 8.5D 5 last for a while but was worried it may be a bit too small.  But based on the Kenilworth having a bit more room, I think I'll give it a shot. I'm not worried about the ball width so much or toe room, and although they may have similar closure above the vamp dropping a 1/2 size, I bet it will be more comfortable than the strand.

I love those shell kennys!  Surprised there wasn't more trunk makeups on this model.  Lets the beauty of the shell do all the talking.  I would do a bottle green or navy, and think they could go with so many looks.
