PSA: Walnut Shell Cordovan Daltons in 8.5 E on the shoebank.

Not sure if these are the original Walnut shell or mislabeled Natural shell... I know we've seen a few pairs come and go, not sure if these might be returns?

Ineed the first pic the merlot looked a bit brown, however it could be my screen. The 2nd pictures the merlot looks pretty close to matching.

The pics do look brown, but there is plenty of red in real life.

Considering it's been quite some time since they offered the Dalton in walnut shell, I'm guessing they're the seconds of a Dalton in natural shell from the trunk show.

@FreedBird might know, since he seems to have the inside scoop on this stuff.

Brooks Brothers shoes are showing up on the Shoebank. At least in 11D.

It just doesn't wear as well. It will get ground down before the combination tap sole will.

I meant this as there is about 3/4" allowance on the toe area. I tried a 10.5 D, but it fit too narrow on my foot.

Unfortunately I am not near an actual store, so would have to ship them to the main warehouse and have them exchanged there. This also means that I can't really go try several different pairs on.

Are you near any Nordstrom locations?

Another unfortunate no. I wouldn't be in the vicinity of one for another three weeks.

It's possible they had a walnut shell upper sitting in warehouse, and it was finally made into a shoe, only to be damaged in some way during manufacturing. Or returned due to a stitching flaw or something.

Cleaned up the Shakers a little bit before putting them away for the season. These are looking good. Turning a deeper red...

McGregors with a few edits. + Vibram half soles from our friends at B. Nelson plus added some kilties myself.

Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

They look great! May I ask which product you use? I use both AE's chili and neutral polish on mine, but they have yet to darken at all. Instead they've just become more glossy, along with the chili Provos I own that see the same process:

I love the dark, almost ruby hue that yours shine, very nice my man!

Remove that damn ugly kitty thing ASAP. It's like a sexy woman coming in bed wearing granny panties

Gotta agree with this.

Ouch :D Good thing they are removable.  Keeping them for casual wear, removing for more formal settings.
