I would wear the PAs with a Black Suit and not think twice about it. Totally with you!

Ah the beauty of lasted shoes, I have similar experiences with shoes made on the same last in the same size...

Great collection

Just got my first pair of shell shoes..What is the right product to use for burgundy Macneils? I saw the Mac method but still don't know what to use sparingly.

I am a fan of Venetian Shoe Cream, but given the great press it's received, I really want to try Bick 4 at some point.

All have light coats of VSC applied sparingly after a few months wear, otherwise it's all Mac Method damp wiping and brushing.

Your shell looks meticulously maintained, CMT1... I am a fan!

X-POST FROM AE MTO THREAD:
In case any of the parties that showed recent interest in the GMTO program (or others from the APPRECIATION THREAD) would like to jump in, this idea is being floated...

I wish. Sadly that kind of mockup work is beyond my skills.

@watchidiot

@Indyoshi68

I did some googling. Count me in

Edit, what last?

So I feel like this is close, but with bourbon calf brogue along that top line...and the AE Heritage has a shorter wing. Will the middle row of brogueing from throat to waist be suede? I noticed it wasn't attached to the eyestays. With all the issues people have had managing the burnish on the bourbon calf, is there some fix like less burnishing, or even a closely hued leather without the fading burnish? Oh... If this IS close, hell yes, I am in.

Check out the AE MTO thread for more deets or your contribution.

Both are great options but I'd give oxblood the edge

Geary in 10.5e for $139 at the NYC union square Burlington warehouse. Not my size, but in case anyone is around. They are first quality, unlike nordstrom rack which sells seconds.

Thanks for the input..thinking about exchanging the Dark Chili Daltons for the oxbloods. The Dark Chili Burnished is a really pretty, classic type of color, but i fear that it may be a bit too much of an old world look for someone my age ...dont know how else to describe it...but the dark rust brown with brass eyelets makes me think it might be a bit too rustic looking for anyone under 50.

The oxblood Daltons that i stopped by and looked at few minutes ago really seemed like a more modern and contemporary cherry tone befitting of someone seeking to make more of a fashion statement.
