I can't say I ever considered the San Marco when it was available for sale, but they are something different to add to the rotation.
These look great!

Those were, once upon a time, mine. They have a couple of stitching flaws, but gorgeous. I sent them back, though, because I just didn't love them enough to keep with the flaws. At a lower seconds price they'd be great.

Edit:  But they don't look anywhere as pristine as yours do, @rydenfan.  All your boots look pretty much pristine!  :nodding:

Thanks all. They don't look quite as dark in person - I took these pictures on a dreary/grey/overcast day. Natural shell is much lighter than this Walnut shell.

Anyone have experience with the Quinton suede, in brogue or bit chocolate? Is the titan sole super rigid?

I say Yes

I am looking to purchase two pairs of Allen Edmonds shoes in the future. Black and Brown/Walnut are the colours I am looking for. They will primarily be worn for formal occasions (Work, Formal Events etc).

I will be purchasing the Park Avenues in Black and possibly the same for Brown.

However, I do like the look of the AE Warwick in Brown.

My question is whether the AE Warwick Monk Straps are appropriate for an office? Or should I stick to the Park Avenues, possibly Fifth Avenue?

Thanks

I think it looks kind of awkward, but that's just me.  FWIW I have a pair and think they look odd with shorts.  I'm going to sell them because that's what I bought them for.  They may work, but on me they just seemed out of place.  I also got mine first quality for $100 due to a pricing glitch (thanks Amazon)

Don't know about warwicks yet but the Mora 2.0 are absolutely appropriate for CBD.

My question is, does Allen Edmonds have a chart like this?  The guide on the AE website "All About Lasts" isn't really all that helpful, the descriptions of the lasts are a bit vague, and they don't show pictures of finished shoes side by side for comparison, so not much of a visual aide.  I combed the forums for a better guide, do you know if one is available?

Thanks

Not to my knowledge. Someone should though

Any suggestions on style and, more importantly, color?

Carlyle - comes in oxblood (cherry based color), and is dead sexy in person.  The online pics really do not capture how great this shoe is.

A single monk is more appropriate for the office/suit than a double monk IMO. Pretty classic style. Single monks are underrated and are awesome smile.gif
