I noticed I never uploaded this pic.  These are my shoes from last week:

Walnut shell MacNeil, navy shell Carlyle, natural shell Dundee, suede Patriot, Wolverine 744 (AE), burgundy shell Dundee

My suede Patriots have wheeled edges. These Dundees are breaking in really nicely. Wore them with Olive cords today.

8D works in the 5 last but my other AE have been 8.5D. That's the main reason the Patriots are up for sale, too small.

I see only the brown on the site but I think I am set on an unlined suede loafer anyways.

Similar to what is done on the odenwald and strandmok. I'm not sure but I do think that its a corrected grain leather as well. I could be wrong on that part though.

You are correct; my Burke's are in Whiskey 'polished' calf, which is corrected grain, same as my burgundy waldens. These were my first 2 pairs of AE shoes and while I have come to appreciate the full line more now that I've gotten the 'fever', I can honestly say I still like the look of the polished leather... Whether I get them recrafted is a toss up, but they are still fairly new with 5-10 wears on them, as I've acquired some other, more comfortable pairs that I wear a bit more. They are still the nicest shoes around my office though!

More polishing. (More beer, too.) Old-style Lexingtons. They started out Walnut but I've been using Dark Brown polish, both cream and wax:

I'd like to know this as well. I've been in Utah all week and wish to live vicariously...

Walnut Dalton 2nds with some new flat laces. Small change that puts a big smile on my face.

Also does anyone have pics of an AE boot with reverse welt? Has been on my mind recently.
