Just noticed there's a shell Dalton on the shoe bank in my size. Do any of you have pictures of your shell daltons in action? I would like to see how they age. I have a pair of RL by C&J Lindericks and I'm not sure if I really need both.

Flame suit on

I got your back, bro. I think the big perfs would look much better on a wingtip. The Regent Street has them, but the shoe is much more balanced visually.

Here is a one of mine. Photo quality is very poor, but I love that I can wear these with a suit, slacks, khakis or jeans. A very versatile boot. This was taken with direct sunlight in a dimly lit room.

the walnut cloud park ave i got isnt particularly formal. when i think dress shoes in my head i'm seeing sleek, dark, highly polished.

i did buy & return a Strandmok in brown. my g/f hated them and a pair of the strand or rogue is probably more versatile?

If she didn't like the Strandmok, check out the Rush Street. Similar style, but better.

For those of you who wear tongue pads (especially in loafers, but anyone who wears them in any shoes can answer), what brand/"style" do you use?  Looking for some that won't fall off or get old/worn out real quick.

Thanks.

Thanks.

I just went to my local AE store and asked. They gave me like 5 pairs for free. I use them in my Neumora and Regent Streets. Work like a charm.

Nice.  Unfortunately I don't live near any AE stores (outlets or regular).

Silly question, but would you mind posting a photo of a pair of them if you have some lying around?  Just want to get an idea of what kinds they are giving out.

I'm mostly asking because I've tried heel pads in the past (for loafers) and found it to be a disaster.

Where do you usually order your shoes from? Call your regular SA. They'll ship them to you.

I'm out of town now, but if you give me til tomorrow, I will do so...

Thanks for the reply! I order from Jeffersonville for seconds (only have a couple firsts that I got on Amazon). I guess I feel weird calling them up and saying "hey, can I have some free stuff?"

Well, u can always buy some stuff from them at the same time. Like polish, etc. or another pair of shoes wink.gif

Kristle sent me some tongue pads once, but it was in tandem with some shoes.

I believe there was an additional 15% off coupon from last year's anniversary sale catalog. Hoping will be the same this year.

Do you have a Nordstrom or Nordstrom Rack near you? I've asked them for tongue pads and they've given them to me for free.

Here is a better picture in daylight of my Navy suede players. They are seconds as you can tell from the picture but in real life you can hardly tell the little scuffs
