Anyone want to proxy a pair of AE if they are already going to a Macys for themselves? I'll add in extra $, PM if possible.

Looking to pick up a pair of olive neumok or Rush Street in Navy. I work in a business dress/casual office. What color pants go with these? Any pics would be apreciated. Thanks!

Light, faded jeans, khakis, cream, white, or other light color chinos or linen pants.

Basically casual or spring/summer colors

Harrison in 10.5 D on the ShoeBank for $177. How's the fit on the 333 last compared to the 65 last?

Thanks

I have so many fit issues being an in between size around 8.25D (can't quite lock in a really great fit with Alden so far), but the 5 last in 8D and honestly even in 8.5D are both great fits for my foot shape. My foot is a bit wide a the ball but also quite narrow at the heel and the 5 last just works. One of very few lasts that does not give my pinky toes issues.

Makes me kind of want to get the Mcgregor in stone suede for Spring.

I need more boot offerings on the 5 last ASAP!  Bleeker is ugly imo and the Fifth Street is too dressy for me.

Is this how all the banks are? I'm planning on going to Jeffersonville next month, but I could always go to WI instead.

I think most of the outlets are like the regular stores but just carry seconds only.  They dont have the boxes just out for you like the Port Washington store.  I could be wrong though, as I havent been to one in an outlet mall.  I do have another seconds store close to me and its just like a regular store.  Anyone else?

@Burzan

I don't mind the bleeker street, but AE needs to come out with more styles. I don't wear dress shoes with jeans on the weekend really unless I'm going out to a dinner or something. I'm waiting on my cronmok to be shipped so that will fill the casual boot void for now.

I'm picking up a pair of walnut Strands and was curious about this two in one polish. Should I still use conditioner before applying this polish and how well does it apply and shine compared to the cream then wax technique?

I like using Lexol conditioner alone on the vamp of my walnut McAllisters before polishing with the two in one on the whole shoe. Seems to have worked well so far.

The cream polish gives a nice dull which I like. It does not give a high shine at all from my experience and you will still need a wax if you would like that.

Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

Those shoes look great..

have you tried the B34 last yet? My foot is similar to yours though I have a widening in the foot south of the ball joint foot area. I find the B34 for casual wear a nice last.

The Odenwald  I really think could become a great stock item base for them to always release new builds of....I think it would be stellar in a variety of leathers, leather and suede combos. They could add a cap toe on to this boot...they could also turn this into a regular height boot. Adding some extra eyelets would be a good feature too.

Offering that boot in some rough out Kudu or Chamois would also be killer.... Of course this means they will discontinue soon...lol

I have not tried the B34 last, is the Odenwald one of the only things on it? It looks like a pretty nice shape indeed.

I just happened to be in the retail store when someone brought back a pair (can't remember, but think it was the strand) that had that problem - SAs took it back without question.  Weird coincidence I guess, but I always sort of happen to be somewhere to be witness to these things - I'll give you a great example.  Was walking by a Payless store in a mall about a month ago and, absolutely no joke, I saw a guy in his 60s saying to a saleswoman that he wanted to buy his wife a pair of shoes and that he would try them on for her.  I had to stop to watch this, it was too good.  He took off his dress loafers and I could see he had on pantyhose or some kind of nylon stockings underneath, and he proceeded to try on like 3 pairs of high heel pumps.  I was shocked beyond when the saleswoman didn't even bat an eye of disapproval, etc. she acted like the whole thing was perfectly normal.  I guess that's why I could never work in retail.

Speaking of being in the AE store, I just saw a guy returning a pair of Darmstadt.  Not particularly relevant to your post, but it is on that last.

Interesting, the B34 last footbed is a great shape but that toe box is just so rugged and work boot styled.
