I'm assuming those are walnut. If so, I'm going to be polishing walnut pretty quick. Mine are a lot lighter, but this is what I want.

guys, is the Bleecker Street the best current bang-for-your-buck shoe for the office?

i need a new pair and the price is tempting. i just have NO idea on sizing and color. i am thinking bourbon or chili but i have never worn AE.

i am an 11d on Brannock.

Since it's the AE appreciation thread. Mixing it up. Visited the Destin outlet and picked up some shorts for $20 each. Made in USA. Normally wouldn't have creased shorts but was hard to pass up. I'm a big fan of their stuff on clearance.

A light blue and coral (I guess)

The only other low-priced option is the McAdam, but it comes in black only.  The McAdam seems like a dress pant or suit boot, so it depends on what you wear to work.

I am an 11D also.  I tried on an 11D Bleecker Street in the store and it felt fine the short time I had it on.

I love Bourbon and Chili, and have both colors.  I think deciding between the two is a matter of taste.  Brown is an option.  I thought the brown Bleecker Street in the store was beautiful.  I don't know what was different than the other brown shoes, but I really liked it.

If you are looking at seconds, keep in mind the burnished colors can have streaking. Also I think that shoes with that much blank space will show imperfections easier, so you may want to go with firsts.

Not sure if this has been posted already but I stumbled upon the 2015 AE Catalog:

Some of those Road Warrior styles are awful. I have trouble understanding the target customer with those. People that like those slip on "loafer" shoes are not the ones that want to spend $300 on a dress shoe. Or even $200 for that matter.

Base prices are listed as $400. Looks like a price increase coming soon?

I have to agree. The Rouge is the only new shoe that I would consider buying. Looks like the Independence line is gone, and the base prices of most of the dress shoes have hit the $400 barrier.

Can you get to a store to try some on? I measured a 9.5D on the brannock, but wear a 10D of 65-lasted shoes because it's a great fit heel to ball of my foot. It's the only way you can know for sure.

I've been wearing my Bleecker streets today and I love them. Fits like a glove, except on my foot.

Looks that way. Also, Looks like the Randolph and McAllister are the only shoes Burgundy. Seems like Ox Blood and Chili are gradually replacing these burgundy.

I have the print version of the 2015 Style Guide, and there are no prices listed where they appear to be $400 on the online version you have linked to. I suspect the link you are all seeing is from a reseller who has put higher prices on the catalog. I also have a Spring catalog which still lists all prices as they are currently.

I like mine. Here's another shot of them in brown shell.

I also like the rest of my boots. My faves are the walnut shell daltons.
From left to right - Dalton, Long Branch, Eagle County, Dundee, Bleecker Street, Wolverine 744 (AE Made), Bayfield
