Boots getting Bick 4 treatment tonight

Being fairly new to AE I didnt know about the Bayfields.  Quick search and there are a few pairs floating around.  Ebay currently has a size 12 in shell.  :( if only I were 1.5 sizes larger.  I love the look of these.

I have them in Brown Chromexcel and wear them quite a bit.

Not lucky, just paying a lot for rent! M23? I have a M23 stop very close to me!

Thanks. It was just for you. I wasn't a loafer guy either until I got a few pairs and now I really like them.

Definitely worthy of another response (I also replied in the MTO thread), and still worthy of being un-spoilered. Really sweet pair of Leeds.

Flannel trousers, wool and cashmere socks with loafers. Don't let the 5 degree temperature or being in your twenties stop you from wearing loafers

What are these? Shell? They look great.

Just kidding of course...

I'm sure these AE shoes would get "hailed" on that thread if they were made by Alden:

Polished the bourbon bleeckers last night with some black polish to give the a little character.  Love it.  Toe caps got a little too dark so I polished them with AE bourbon polish.  Might be a few black streaks but no one will notice.  :)

Very nice.  I just bought the same boot last night, waiting for it to be shipped.  I take it you go to Port Washington since you're in close proximity?  My boss lives about 30 minutes away and sends me pics all the time when he's there buying shoes.

I saw a pair of these at Nordstrom Rack a while back. Was shocked to see that AE made them.

Fantastic. I'm glad you decided to keep them and that the black polish worked out for you.

I have been twice, its actually a little overwhelming because basically you are searching around in a stock room.(well overwhelming to a noob like me)  I have 3 stores (including port washington) within 30 minutes of me.  However, I have just started my collecting so I havent been to any of the stores that much.

Looking at those pics dont do it justice.  It was my third pair of bleeckers and the first 2 were a little darker.  Adding the black to the bourbon really looks nice... a little hard to see with the lighting, etc.  I just had to take them off though as I noticed it was snowing outside.  :(

Indeed, I believe I was the one who suggested you keep the third pair and use black polish.
