Another option is to email the Shoebank for a list of Brooks Brothers styles in your size. They have a Park Avenue version and they are $159.

Much appreciated. I sent them an email. Is there any particular difference(s) between the AE for BB and AE styles?

The BB one has a leather/rubber v-tread combo sole and a foam insole.

The BB is tighter because of its padded insoles. I had to go up 1/2 size with mines.

This is true for some people, but not for others (like me).

PSA: Jeffersons for $283 (from $495) shipped and sold by Amazon. Lots of sizes.

If I go to the Jeffersonville outlet store, will they tell me about the Brooks Brothers options?

Bleeker Street question....

I am an 11e in the 5 last strand and mcalister, but found the Mcgregor to fit in an 11d due to the open lace style of the oxford.

How do folks feel the Bleeker Stree fits?

Yes, if you ask.

Thank you, FatTuesday.
You must be pretty excited this time of year. It's almost your day.

Same as McGregor for me but some go up 1/2 width, so you would take 11E. Bleecker fits tighter across the vamp.

They probably won't need to - in the outlet store I went to they had more boxes of Brooks Bros for AE shoes than Jack Harper & Victoria Olsen clones stored onboard the Tet.

It's the same at the store near me. They always have at least one table of BB Strand and Park/Fifth Aves, along with other BB options stacked on the floor in places.

Interesting. The original AE shoebank in Port Washington, WI (I stopped by a month ago) has their Brooks shoes in blue BB boxes (with AE-labels on the side) rather than AE boxes. Wonder why that is.

Hello all.

I could really use some advice. I am looking to buy a pair or two of AEs from shoebank. I have a wedding to attend at the end of May and was wondering if anyone has insight into a better deal coming up before then. I remember there used to be 2 for $250 or 2 for $300.

I guess I'm just wondering if I should take advantage of the current sale through shoebank or wait to see if they have a better sale before the end of May.

Thanks!
