I'm a dead man if I buy any more shoes. S.O. just stumbled apon my unworn Alden PTBs #8 in the closet. She wasn't happy when I told her the "deal" I got on them @ The Shoe Bank

LOL

I'm lucky enough to have a wife with her own boot addiction. Then again I've only bought one pair of AE's (a few months ago) but i'm saving up for the next pair, and my wife is all for it. Here's hoping that she doesn't grow weary of my rapidly growing shoe addiction.

I can't fathom why any non-gay male would want that ridiculous stitching on their backside.  It's like the white trash man's failed attempt at being high class.

I hate that crap on girls jeans... and hate it ever more on guys jeans.  ABSOLUTELY NO REASON FOR A STRAIGHT MAN TO DRAW ATTENTION TO HIS REAR END!

I don't like TR jeans but yes, this post is offensive.

Nothing wrong with TR jeans - to each his own. And yes, this topic has gone awry - time to move on.

What can I do to make my walnut AEs look a little more ... Bourbon? Maybe even a slightly darker version of Bourbon.

Brush them with your black brush (the brush that you use on your black shoes) and them shine them with your black cloth (the cloth that you use on your black shoes). There should be enough polish left on both your black brush and on your black cloth to have almost the same effect (Bourbon) that AE gets by polishing Walnut shoes with a black polishing wheel.

Absolutely gorgeous! That's a very well-kept, well-presented collection, sir.
