Oh, Mylanta! Those are awesome. Very nice MTO. I've never really been a Leeds fan up to this point, but I think you just changed my mind.

Actually I am always looking in the 8D, 8E and 8.5D list and those were posted in the 8.5D as white suede Leeds with no picture. I am only speculating that they may be the upcoming Club Monaco collab at this point.

does anyone own the Allen Edmonds cascade boot? It's not made anymore and I found one today while at Nordstrom Rack. The leather is super supple and it's got the Vibram sole and split reverse welt, so its ready for winter. this one is for the elements so that my Eagle Counties and Daltons can stay pretty! I think once I clean these up, there going to be incredible.

I really like how the leather looks on these. Navy Blue Eagle counties today with the contrast laces to match my coat:

Happy Friday all.

I have them in black, and I love them! I wear them probably 3-4 days a week to commute to and from work. Broke in really nicely and I love the vibram sole.

It's got a pretty serious defect.

I presume it works the same way for college campuses where you can get away with jeans and sneakers (or sandals!), but where it's probably better to dress at least a tad preppy.

I work from home, so the dressier shoes don't work too well for day-to-day unless they're walnut (or similar). Even my Strands see less and less time now, in favor of the Shreveport. Only one pair of my ~10 AEs are formal and the rest I wear to places like the grocery store, the park, or even hiking...

Interesting...

I have read back in this thread since 1/1/15 and this is the first mention of Shreveports. In my opinion they are classy as hell and extremely comfortable, especially during the warmer months.

Why do they not get more mentions here? Or would they if I read back through the warmer months when AE markets them?

Any thoughts about the Central Park? I like the suede/leather mix and in black it seems formal. Aside from Christmas and new years parties, do people wear these anywhere else?

Just received a pair of shell Dundees from the seconds sale. I'm going to return them.

I think certain defects, like these, are worthy of scrapping the shoes altogether, or at least selling the pair at a massive discount (perhaps 1/2 the seconds price). I can't imagine anyone paying $399 (or even $499) for these. They're essentially ruined.

You'll see them mentioned more frequently during the warmer months, but it's still not a staple shoe. More popular seems to be the New Orleans, although it's on the infamous and departing 2-last.

That's pretty dreadful.  If I were you I would ask them to waive the $10 restocking fee.
