Good catch -- I'm in love with a #8 CXL belt I got from Gustin and was just thinking about stepping up my casual brown belt to something a bit nicer.

What's the word on these?

Interesting.  The BB Duke does say "Made in America."  I have both the AE Duke and AE football grain Patriot.  I reach for the Duke more often, although the Patriot has seen a few college football games.  I have no complaints about the few DR AE shoes I own.

Just contacted the ShoeBank, and they don't carry factory-second Swims overshoes.

Has anyone seen the Swims Mobster boot overshoes lower than $149 on the AE website?

$35. You're in luck. The CXL belt does look decent, I'd take a crack at it for $59.

Why would they? They don't make Swims and I have a hard time imagining what a rubber overshoe second would look like.

They also sell other brands, such as Uggs and Clarks at the ShoeBank, that's why I was wondering if they also have factory-second Swims.

It is entirely possible. But some of the reviews states its a DR shoe. BB site isn't the most up to date. But I haven't ordered a pair personally.

(For myself, I'm perfectly happy with the $299 shell Grayson seconds I bought this time last year from the shoe bank.)

We were talking about the snuff looking suede one. Also an Alden. The price helps sometimes too in figuring out a maker.

Wearing mine today in golden brown cxl.  Very nice match for golden brown CXL shoes/boots and a nice / plain casual look.

If they have a natty cxl at that price, I am ordering it today to match a pair of natty cxl un-brogued Bellevues coming soon. (TY 4 PSA)

J crew and brooks brothers also carry swims and they sometimes go on sale.  Look into tingleys also.  Same function, much lower price.

Edit:  If you have BB corp membership you can most likely get a pair of swims for 30% when they run a corp sale.

MTO Stand added to the collection.

These are the very first pair or Allen Edmonds I ever bought, the Ramsey.  I got these in 2005, can't believe it is going on 10 years.  They don't get much wear nowadays but I still love them and care for them like they were new.  I took them into my local store and happened to meet the VP of Retail Stores who was amazed at how well they still look.  I told him more credit has to go to the craftsmanship.

Meh, I'm not thin skinned.  I figured that some of my shoes would not go over well here.

Just to be clear, my post was a light-hearted jest in response to @BackInTheJox, not an aspersion cast towards the OP.  Carry on.
