Went with the Cliftons today. I'm going to hit these with some Lexol and some light brown polish to darken them up some. They are a little too orangey for my tastes.

I've never heard of this.  Please elaborate!

I didn't stay outside for long...

LoL. I did not mean to scare you. I was just joking.

I was saying there should be!!! I am pretty sure a horse has been exposed to that before. It'll be fine!

And here I was, wondering if there was some thread I missed about exposing shell to sub zero temperatures!  Haha.

Does anybody have pics/a review of their Gobi Chukka? Preferably the suede kind, but I mostly want to see how it fits/looks.

Another Torontonian, went with black delays today with the tap sole. Shells fine in the cold I've been wearing my Leeds a fair bit. My shell dundees and strands are inside shoes only until the spring.

They look great! And the trousers are slick too.

PSA: I got an email just now that the suede Gobis have been added to the clearance sale.  Making them even more tempting to me.

I've got to get into a store to try them on.

Thanks got them from this place....super fast delivery from England I think....I ordered 16 pairs and they threw in some for free in a thinner style which is really cool as they will probably look great in my Leeds and  some other shoes.

I am happy to play the a-hole again...but why would they move the Gobi suedes to clearance? How is that not a stock model in snuff and blue? I can see moving them there but maybe having the snuff with a different sole or the blue with different edge dressing in the current lineup....I really do not get what they do at all...

The Sturgis also suffers from aweful AE photos...I think that is a boot they could offer in some new leathers and maybe throw in a cap toe and keep as a staple...I guess the Odenwald will move there next before I get to MTO that one...

I would guess that for efficiency sale they only keep seasonal items in regular production (outside of "timeless classics" models) during their intended season. Though sand and blue strike me as summery colors for suede...
