Your local AE store will have them for free

Just received my walnut Fifth Avenue's in the mail today. I have some shoe trees for them already, but what else should I do before I can start wearing them normally?

I have a dark brown belt f as well as the Manistee belt in Walnut - both from AE.

thnx!

I went to the Bay and got a belt that matched the closet to the chilli. Also remember when you polish them it will darken, so maybe wait until you polish then get a belt. I didn't and bought a belt before I polished, it's still a 95% match anyways. You can't tell when the belt is on my waist, only if I take it off and put it next to my shoe.

Nordies will probably give you some.  I wear them in most of my shoes, especially loafers.  Be careful putting them in.  The adhesive is very strong and you may only get one chance

Cheers

PSA: JAB shoe trees for $8.50 US minus 20% with code TODAY. I managed to get 12 pairs of trees for $81.60. Pretty good deal for the same trees that AE uses.

How long did you end up waiting? I'm about five weeks waiting for my brown shell PAs.

I waited just about 7 weeks for mine, but that include an original pair they had finished about a week and a half ago which failed final inspection. To make things worse, I just looked at the stitching on one of the soles and it's kinda sloppy still. I might end up returning them after noticing it now. Ugh

Currently at Shoebank, boots are back up to their regular price (even though the sale language is still there). Randolphs and Patriots are at $199.

@csmitty, is that $199 seconds on Shoe Bank, or firsts on the AE website and retail stores?

The AE chili dress belt is a real nice match, likely 15% off on the black friday sale.
