So do you think the Dalton's go better with jeans and chinos than the Eagle Country?

Yes I did a light condition and polish before this happened.

Which leather defender is recommended? Also what is nano spray? Sorry for the noob questions.

Was curious about the upcoming Black Friday sale, so found last year's sale flyer on reddit.

No worries...compared to most of these shoe whores I am a newbie too

Nano spray is for rough leathers like suede, nubuk, etc...I use it on my super soft leather shoes like the Banchory

Leather defender is an Alden product I use on their shoes

I think they both would look awesome. But the Eagle Country is just slightly formal to me. Get both smile.gif

Edit, it really depends on the look you're going for. For a casual jeans and chino's look Dalton, for say a chino and dress pants I would go EC. That's just my opinion

The shakers are far more delicate than normal calfskin shoes. I suspect they're made from Nappa leather, though no one can confirm this for me. My pair has several water drop stains that seem to be more or less permanent. frown.gif

Those are almost definitely splashback from the restroom. Wearing leather shoes (or worse: shorts and flip-flops) makes it very clear how common this is. Sneakers don't make this effect obvious, but they're taking the same beating. I actually "wipe" my instep on the back of my pants when I notice it.

A simple treatment with a conditioner/cleaner should remove them.

I am kind of surprised we haven't seen anything yet.

There is a skill to avoiding that, different but similar enough to pouring a beer with the glass angled that the analogy gets the idea across. A quick wipedown with a slightly damp papertowel after drying your hands helps too.

Would someone with Bleecker Streets and Fifth Streets please compare the height of the two shoes and possibly snap a few pics of them? I know they are rather different in style, but I don't think I need more than one pair between the two.

Thanks!

Nice. Clark Streets never show up as seconds in my size. :(

There is a pair of 12E burgundy shell Dundees for $299.00 at the shoe bank.  Somebody grab them before they figure out it's a mistake.

I refreshed and they were $399.00.  Or maybe they always were.  Maybe I just wished they were.

Just got back from my store. My SA said all colors mctavish and the green and red neumok will be 199 for Black Friday. I didn't ask about anything else, since I was looking at a mctavish and neumok. Belts will be 15% off.
