I've heard of people finding spare change under the cushions, but this is ridiculous!  How big is your couch, George?

Why does the stone suede Gobi show a flat welt, and the other colors are split/reverse?

Is the current seconds price of $271 a good deal on the Daltons? I dont see them in my size all to often so I am thinking about jumping on it.

It's $150 off, so sure. I've seen it lower, but not for a while.

I believe they were $219 for 2-3 days during the RDA sale. The demand was huge so it went to $269 afterwards for the rest of the RDA sale.

Please film this if you do it.  Thanks.

Is there any way to repair this? The shoes are in very good condition otherwise or I wouldn't bother.

This can be repaired, though it will be a little kludgy. The cobbler will glue or sew a leather patch over the hole. It works in a pinch and is fine if it does not bother you. I'd take it to a cobbler and ask them what they think.

Does anyone have any tips on breaking in some Daltons?

The obvious answer is to wear them, but otherwise? I wish I had sized up on the width of the pair I bought, they're beautiful and I already wore them once in an attempt to start breaking them in, but they're rather narrow...

I once paid for a bespoke suit with a trashbag full of coins. Not my finest hour, and I wouldn't really recommend it.

Also, for what it's worth, I didn't intend to do this. The suitmaker had a problem with their payment system. I ran to an ATM, but it maxed out about $100 under the value of the suit. I was on the way to the airport and had a bag of unused change in local currency I planned to give to the homeless. I gave the suitmaker cash plus the hundred-plus dollars in change, trash bag and all.

Just like KMD said. That's a pretty basic repair for a competent cobbler.  They will usually sew a leather patch to the heel cup area. I would say about $20 or so.

To me the EC is far sleeker due to the last and the pattern.
