Haha, me too from 2 years ago. Unfortunately my wife has a photographic memory, so several pairs are quite definitely "stealth"

LOL...my wife says very little about my shoes as she also knows I sell a bunch...which is great for keeping the confusion up...however when boxes come from AE directly she realizes those puppies are for me...and well I am do for about 6 boxes to show up over the next month or so .....hmmm perhaps giving her a really nice Christmas present early will stem the any complaints.

Got pics from the photographer yesterday. Took almost 2hrs to go through them all.

Who do you think is on SF out of these smile.gif

All finished up.

And the whole party.

The ceremony was on a point on a lake and it was very windy. A constant 10-15mph breeze which made for some interesting pictures and last minute switching sides at the alter so the women could be looking into the breeze (for hair purpose). Glad I used some hair spray for the first time in 15yrs or so.

There would have been some more aisle decorations and flower girl petals, but they would have lasted about 2secs with the wind we had. It gusted so hard it blew a few vases with water and flowers off the alter we had and shattered on the stone. Fortunately it was just during the seating of the parents/grandparents. Overall we wouldn't have changed a thing though.

new guy then ponders whether he needs a separate pair for various functions and proceeds to buy a collections of AEs : rain (scotch grain bluchers), snow (commando soled boots), formal events (single leather black captoes), work (stitched dark brown captoes), work casually (merlot wingtips), work in style (walnut strands), work at home (suede bluchers),

new guy finally participates in a trunk show to buy rare shells and proceeds to post pictures of them on the AE thread

The problem is when the latter precedes the former. There are a ton of shoes I "need" such as commando soled boots and a pair or two of simple, medium brown shoes... but I'm instead contemplating various MTOs for next summer and the purchase of rare shells!

Luckily or unluckily, I don't have one to reign in or criticize my spending. Maybe that just means I'll have built up a collection I'll be perfectly content with by the time that situation rolls around. Who am I kidding, no I won't.

Yeah, the oxblood looks best in the strand IMHO. Although I just picked up a bobs chili in the strand and have a merlot Mcallister and a burgundy shell strand on the way, I may have to pick this up too. God help me and save me from my wife

I can't really tell a difference between Merlot and Oxblood.

I wish they would announce what other models they will be offering in oxeblood...I think I want a Bleeker St in it but do not really want to MTO it ...would have during the sale so maybe during the black Friday sale.

I'll hold out for Black Friday and see whether the First Avenue is available in Oxblood by then...
