@ryansto

Thank you so much for getting the word out about the new shell colors.  Even though the trunk shows aren't happening for another few weeks, it appears that at least one person (@mdubs) has already placed an order via email.  I assume that means email and phone orders are being taken even as we speak.  Consequently, I'm concerned that certain colors may run out pretty quickly.  Do you have any idea how much of each color will be available (for example, how many pairs)?

Thanks!

I have always been required to prepay mto items upon order.

Probably a good thing for me.

But recent Gmto orders here at SF have been billed when the shoes ship, so it could go either way...

SF affiliation may add a modicum of trust, hence the generous bill-when-shipping policy.

My recent MTO (Non Group) was indeed paid upfront

PSA there are some good deals up on Amazon right now. I just picked up a Clark Street for $160 with amazon prime shipping and free returns. Seems like pretty limited numbers and sizes though.

Looking for socks that are thicker than regular dress socks but not boot socks...something to wear with Leeds for example...My office is on the cool side and my toes get chilly..plus my shell Leeds in 12.5 and 13 are both a tad roomy and a few other shoes as well.

I am fine with over the counter stuff...JA Bank, JC Penny, Macy's, online ordering etc not picky.

Wigwam Everyday Fusion.  Only problem is that they're generally available only in solid colors (although I have a few patterned pairs).

I have several pairs of AE rib casual socks that I wear in the fall/winter when I needed thicker socks. I find them to work pretty well and have been durable.

Ordered a some of the AE and a three different Wigwam from Amazon...very happy with all of them - no colors but that is fine...most of these being worn with boots or loose leeds

Wigwam Men's Merino/Silk Hiker Sock - outstanding thick boot sock -

Wigwam Men's At Work 3-Pack Socks - great everyday sock - slightly thicker than medium weight - cheap price - not going to keep your feet too warm

Wigwam Men's Everyday Fusion Socks, Black, X-Large - very nice - feet warm medium weight

Are able to confirm that "natural brown" is indeed undyed natural shell?

Would it be overkill to have both a walnut Sanford and walnut Strand? Planning on darkening the Sanford with chili polish.

Thanks to you and @evolved . Was wondering how things would work with this special shell offer.

What do you guys recommend for my Walnut Flatirons if I want to keep the walnut color long-term? With my black Fifth Aves I semi-regularly use kiwi black carnuba shoe polish with no complaints. Any similar products I should get for the walnuts?

Beautiful. Are these Cappuccino/Truffle McAllisters or Jeffersons? I can't see the top of the shoe to determine myself. Still trying to figure out if such a Jefferson exists for the table below.

Please let me know anything I missed. Note that MTOs will often not have their own numbers, and instead reuse an existing one; my Burgundy Shell Kenilworths say 8005, which actually corresponds to Black Custom Calf.

If you have a Jefferson, I'd love to know it's code and whether you think it's Brown or Cappuccino/Truffle. Old seconds lists called 7666 "Brown Cordovan Jefferson", but I also see Jeffersons listed in a Cappuccino promo picture.

If you happen to own a lighter version of one that comes in multiple shades of brown (Dundee, Jefferson?, Park Avenue, Patriot, Strand), check to see whether maybe you got a Cappuccino/Truffle (synonymous) or Walnut one that was mislabeled as Brown and let us know.

I think Mdubs has a cappuccino Jefferson, he should be able to add the code for the table.

I checked my Truffle McAllisters the other day and they match what is there

They are the McAllisters, the code you have is correct. Great job at updating the table, you may need to start adding another column for navy and green soon smile.gif
