BB and RL models don't show up on shoebank.com, do they?

That's a negative.

No, just give them a call they will email you the inventory.

Are you saying they're no longer having the 2 for $250 deal for good? Where am I gonna get my shoes now?!

They haven't had a 2 for $250 in the past 8 months or so, but there have been several 2 for $299s.

Suck it up and pay the extra $49?

Great new AE video.

Does anyone remember for certain? I'd like to grab a pair in the "Bob's Chili" color, but I'm wondering if I should just wait for a better sale...

I bought my 5th Aves on the shoebank last year for $150, so these sales do (or did) come up from time to time.

Thanks for sharing! Next time I find myself in the US I'll make sure to schedule a trip to Port Washington. Should just be a 4-5 hour drive from my in-laws who live in Chicago (I think).

Thanks for letting me know. I'm going to wait out the RDA sale. I recently purchased 2 pairs of the Indy line shoes for $150 each (2 for $299), so shelling out more for the regular line is a bit hard for me to justify.

The last 2 for 299 sale was only for close out styles. The only reason the Indy line was there was because they were closing out a lot of the models except Jefferson and Rutledge I believe. I doubt whether there will be a 2/299 sale that would include timeless classics/permanent models.

Like @watchidiot said, that's highly unusual pricing for Indy line shoes and I wouldn't use that as a basis for how much you should spend on  the regular calf line. My experience is that some sales have surprisingly good pricing for one or two specific styles. For instance, I'd be pretty happy about paying $220 for a pair of Daltons in the current sale; I haven't seen them that low in a while, even before the price increase (excepting the close-out styles such as the grey ones).

Would anyone be able to tell me if I need to size up or down on the BB fifth avenues compared to the standard fifth aves?

Also is the different insole not going to form to my foot over time as the non BB ones would?
