Nt spoiler because, frankly, I find these shoes extremely beautiful.  That bitter Choco w/ those woven tassels are amazing together.

Was this a MTO?  I sure wish AE had more RTW suede options.

Agreed about the welt and edging.  Chili or lighter would look much better with the whiskey (did AE call it that??) shell.

Happy hunting!

Ha, no worries. Only ATLVol has gotten to a pair before me and I've been devastated. My collection isn't that large and now, hopefully, only concentrating on the ones I want and will keep, other than pouncing on the good deals that I'm hesitant. However Sub $150 AE's are always tempting. Above that it better be something I'll love, most likely shell smile.gif 6-700 for a pair of shoes they'll see some use so I better love em.

Where in Dixie you at?

Visited my AE store today and saw the McGregor in person... and the assortment of Bob's Chili. Loving the combo of the two... it makes me wonder why anyone would buy the McGregor in any other color. I foresee yet another dent in my wallet on the horizon!

Thanks snoogz. You are correct, these are MTOd Lakeshore Drive in brogue suede with braided chili cord and tassels.

One of the first tassel loafers that makes me consider getting a pair. I think they look fantastic.

Hey idiot, your vision for MTO options are phenomenal. I would have never been able to think up these well put together cohesive options.

You should design shoes for AE lol. I'm telling you, they need something.

They'd do so much better.

Wearing my walnut Larchmonts today. This is my first experience with the 3 last and likely to be my last given the creasing along the toe. I think my next pick up will likely be either a pair of Mora's or the McGregor in chili.

I'm having trouble seeing anything irregular.

Having said that I do have creasing issues on the 3 last, but the fit is so damn good I don't care...

I think it's par for the course; don't give up on them yet.

peppercorn, did you do something to precipitate the email from Allison re: EC MTO?

I have not been in touch with Allison except for receiving the invoice from her this morning.

What email?

I think Tjyoung was going to ask about some specs being off.

What are you guys using to protect your suede these days? In hesitant about the spray, but I suppose if I'm conservative with it, no longer term issues will arise.
