I had been looking for a burgundy belt to go with my shell Daltons and Cambridges... Was in a major retailer's store today and this belt... it found ME! Broguing and color were EXACT - looks like AE made it. Leather is not the best - clearly not shell - but it is spot on. No one will even notice. Stars aligned:

I could use a belt like that.  Do you mind sharing the make and store?

Anybody notice that Shoebank is having a 2 for $499 sale on calfskin shoes?  Didn't see this one coming.

Calfskin dress shoes 2 pair for $499. Please complete the order with one store to take advantage of the 2 for $499 pricing.

Agreed.  Doesn't seem to be generating a lot of excitement.

Absolutely - I was in a local (Chicago) Marshalls; the belt's stamp says it was constructed in Canada by a company called Bosca...model number B03738 It allows me to take a little time getting the #8 shell AE (or Alden) version, minus broguing.

I guess it's only a good deal if buying Daltons or Indy lines

I seem to remember AE doing a storewide sale in the fall in years past--Rediscover, or Anniversary, I think. Am I dreaming, or have one or both of these sales already happened this year?

RDA (Rediscover America) sale is scheduled to begin Oct. 6.  Read back in this thread a few days and you'll find a link to the sale flyer.  Pretty good deals approaching!

Yeah I went the same which is 8.5D, I bet an 8E would work too though
