Nice pickup! Too bad about the Dundee, I love my pair.

Damn that sucks, seems inventory is pretty low and maybe they are trying to really clear the last of the cordovan seconds inventory out.

In my size I'm only seeing (a) loafers (which I don't buy) and (b) stuff I already have.  I would have been sorely tempted by a pair of burgundy shell Bradleys, but no luck.

Burgundy shell Dalton or Dundee would have been nice to see in my size.

Nah around $25-$30 is the total I was hit with from FedEx, you won't be charge any duty, should be only taxes so YMMV as I am in Alberta with only 5%. I have ordered multiple pairs and still only been charged the $45 shipping.  Last time they actually gave me free shipping, might be a sign I shop too much with the Shoe Bank though hahaha

Really interested to hear any developments tomorrow. If it is something in walnut shell that has been sitting around I am gonna be pissed if you are an 8 or 8.5

I just got word from Allison that my Golden Brown CXL Leeds MTO are shipping out today. Pretty excited!

Is it worth asking an SA for a list of available cordovan shoes in a given size, or is the shoebank website pretty up to date on these? I know the website doesn't always list everything (e.g., RL and BB).

I'm potentially looking to buy my first pair of cordovan, so maybe it's better if no one responds to this post.

The site is only updated once per day. Best to call and ASAP! wink.gif

The website was correct at 8:00AM CST from what I could tell (as both my purchases from last night disappeared). But whatever has been bought between then and now is still listed as in-stock on the page.

a friend of mine commented that my Clark St's looked like bowling shoes....I laughed but cried on the inside...

My new shoes are the squeakiest shoes I've ever had. Walking down hallway sounds like I'm murdering ducks. Closer inspection. I think the tongue is rubbing against underside of "lace closure flaps" or whatever you would call that. Any suggestions on a lube to grease the monkeys up or recommendation. Black riverside model.

You think a water and baby powder solution would work best? I mean once you run the baby powder on then wipe off isn't it pretty much gone. The water mixture would soak in.

Anyone try this?

Just got home from work about an hr ago. Found 2 potentially interesting shell options.

50% success rate, predictably the burgundy Dalton had sold! Anyhoo, I should be the proud owner of a pair of black Dundees in a couple of days or so!

The Lamont is on the 97 last, which is the same last as the Sanford (now discontinued).  I double checked this with AE today when I called corporate (Allison Meyer).

Does this mean it is 100% the exact same shoe w/ a different name?  And why would AE have 2 names for the exact same shoe (not to mention, why would they continue to make a shoe that they discontinued, yet sell through another retailer?)

Anyone know the answers to these questions?
