Long time lurker, first time poster. I have a QC question on my new bourbon McAllisters. I received a pair of firsts two days ago in the mail and have been breaking them in around the house before putting them into the rotation. Last night, a crease became prominent just where the wing starts to form near the toe. Now whenever I walk, it digs into my middle toe and is quite obnoxious. When they arrived, I noticed that there was some creasing above the perforations on the wingtip (about where the painful crease is forming) but I didn't think anything of it.




This has never happened to my other AE shoes, so I don't think it's my gait. Could this be a defect such that I should return the shoe and get a replacement? These shoes are a product of another return of firsts that started to break-down near the heel. Thanks!

They are still a little more narrow than my 10.5 wide amoks. This is an incredibly narrow shoe, even for my not all that wide foot. Im debating keeping or flipping them...

It's certainly confusing. To add to the confustion, I both placed and received confirmation of my order before 1:30 PM AND received the follow-up email about the pricing error explaining the cancellation. I guess we'll see.

It's not that confusing - if you made your order before 1:30pm eastern, it'll be cancelled. They corrected the price at 1:30pm.
