There are much better deals to be had than that.

So I decided to get the Mcallister in merlot for my interviews this year. Do I need a merlot belt or would a regular dark brown belt do?

You need a merlot or burgundy belt.

Perhaps for merlot or burgundy, but not for bourbon...

Thanks half! I was initially hesitant of ordering loafers from AE as I have a high instep and most info I've read says that AE loafers are a bit unforgiving to feet like mine. I was surprised that this shoe fits me well TTS. Now I think I'm hooked; this is my second loafer.

I bought a burgundy basic dress belt 2nd from AE outlet for 19.95 during last years Black Friday sale.

Also check high end outlet stores like Nordstrom rack or century 21.

I thought they had free shipping over $75? I was going to stock up anyways.

Me too. Added $90+ to the cart last night and applied the 15% code and shipping came up at $17. I'll support A Suitable Wardrobe in that case.

EDIT: Just added the same stuff to cart and it added back the free shipping option now that the coupon code is invalid. What a crock.

I, too, bought the Fifth Avenue over the Park Avenue.

However, I wanted to warn you that they both have approximately (exactly?) the same cap length and therefore stubbiness (switch between these two pictures for a comparison).

I do agree the quarter brogue perfing on the Fifth Avenue makes it much less plain looking, though many would point out that it's arguably not formal enough for certain occasions.

So I'm quitting my job today. Figured I'd wear my favorite shoes --brown shell Strands-- for the occasion.

Best of luck, and looks great while you are at it.
